  1. Congratulations, you are in Modding Mondays! Absolutely deserved, as always. This is a clever and skilled piece work. Very-very-very useful. Many thanks Ryan! this game would not be the same without you!!
  2. No, this is not an issue by itself. Just too heavy, in this context, for most of the machines. BTW, I'll probably upload a new version during this night, with cloulds and performance improvements and some minor changes more.
  3. I'm doing the change, but is not so much the interval as the parts calculating each own reflection. If you have just a cockpit is barely noticeable, but if you are running a station or a complicated craft with many engines and so on... It's based on Texture Replacer, by shaw, which has a reflections plugin. Windowsshine uses that same plugin.
  4. Instead to remove the clouds, try to just delete the file "MM_ReflectionPluginWrapper.cfg", inside Texture replacer folder. This disables the part reflections (which are per-part and are probably slowing down the performance with any big/complicated craft). Would be cool to have some tests with that change. BTW, sorry, but I don't know if this is compatible with other packs at all. So for the best and most secure results you should do the "cleanest" installation possible. That means, without previous versions of any of the plugins used, other packs and so on...
  5. I'm a huge fan of this expansion! I'm looking forward that the configurations of the comet's tails can be saved. BTW, a bug report: procedural clouds seems to not work under DirectX11.
  6. Unbelievable: the files are not available yet in Curse or KS... I'll try to fix the obvious problems ASAP. The framerate dropping is probably caused by the asteroids spamming around Kerbin.
  7. OMG. In Curse, +5 hours under review... and my grandma seems faster than Kerbal Stuff (and the poor woman is dead)... Link in the OP.
  8. This process never has been so slow... I'm uploading it to my Drive too, but please be kind with the downloads, don't make my account to be closed, lol.
  9. It's packed to un-zip and play. So if you have previous version of any of the plugins used, you should remove the old/current folders before.
  10. Is downloadable here (0.5 version)? http://kerbal.curseforge.com/projects/the-renaissance-compilation/files
  11. Omg Curse... more than 3 hours to validate a zip file... And in Kerbal Stuff is still uploading...
  12. @Rbray89 seems to have a new trick to save a lot of memory in the game loadings. He is checking my configs to see where is the problem to update to that concrete version of EVE. As soon as this be possible I'll update the mod to use that feature. In the other side, Thomas P. have a load on demand implemented in Kopernicus, which should make the memory managing more efficient too.
  13. Would be cool to have a link to see that streaming. Please be patient, the pack has now around 470MB. Curse seem to be taking his time to validate the file and kerbal stuff is just uploading the file pretty slowly. BTW, I play in OpenGL with more mods without memory problems. Anyways, and IMHO, the problem with the memory (since some versions ago) seems to be a stock leak in the change of scene, which floods the memory at mid-long term (ingame). EDIT: I've forgot: the game loads much, much quicker now.
  14. Ok, new version is uploading. I'll post the links ASAP. Overhaul of the most important changes: - All planets revamped (textures and normal maps) from its own heightmaps (now everything you see is down there). - Improved surface in Gilly, Bop, Pol. Surface re-done in Minmus. - Improved surface colors in most of the bodies. - All bodies has now personalised and completely new surfaces. - New sunflare and, thanks to Thomas P., new sunflare loader (no more KSP_Data messing). - Most of the parts (except the new ones and NASA) revamped or retouched. - New HD Skybox, from a high-detail real skymap. - Added Engine Light with adjusted configs. - New atmospheres with Scatterer (keeping the stock heights). A tiny blue atmo added in Eeloo (Pluto style!). - Added reflections to all command pods and several parts. - New clouds and atmo effects (particles, sandstorms, tornadoes, geysers...). And much more incoming (several new effects are not completely ready yet). - Trees, weed, rocks and other details revamped. - Procedural clouds in Jool Known problems / to solve: - Is recomendend to play forcing OpenGL or Dx11, to avoid memory problems. - Auroras are not possible at night sides (yet). - No procedural clouds at Jool with Dx11. - The sun flare under the atmosphere is not matching (yet) the real size of the sun. - Atmospheres are not showed in all bodies at the same time (just the atmo where the active vessel is, and maybe near bodies). - Atmospheres are not showed in the tracking station. - No clouds in the main menu. - Sun particles are visible under the atmosphere. Despite that many effects and noveltys are not ready yet, I don't want to delay this by more time, so you can expect more content coming soon. Also, no time for extra content this time, it's comming again in the next version.
  15. Done. BTW, a pair of xmas wishes, for when you can / if you can: - Auroras lighting at night again. - Vertical movement for particles. Oh, and my city lights -as you can see- are not visible at orbital scales. Is intended?
  16. As in the previous version, my configs are not working at all. Has changed something that I've not noted in the config system?
  17. I have pqs changes, but all was working perfectly in the previous version. In fact I rolled to it, and all seems to work fine again.
  18. I'm the only one for who this last version didn't work at all? Nothing, seems that is not detecting the config files at all. My log
  19. Yes, we candemor!. (Sorry, spanish meme/prank I could not resist. That is "Chiquito de la Calzada". A spanish humorist which speaks in a very kerbalish way, lol.)
  20. Hi Valerian. You know I'm a big fan of your plugin, and btw I'm pretty happy with the last changes. I was wondering, due the last changes, do you mind if I still redistribute Planet Shine along with the new KSPRC? I'm planning to use CKAN for the dependencies as soon as possible to avoid re-distributions of the plugins, but for now I wish to avoid the "people going crazy for installs" as much as possible... Please don't worry and be sincere, I want to respect to the plugin creators as much as possible.
