So, I made a render of all the planets and moons in Kerbal space program 2 with their real textures from in-game, and also made them be true to scale. Here's a comparison between all planets and moons, and how large they are.

On Duna (and likely other bodies as well), most of the small terrain scatters render underground and are not visible. The two attached photos show the same location, one with the camera underground showing the amount of scatter, and the other image with the camera above ground showing how those scatters are underground and are obscured. While I've been away, I've given Blender a fair shake. Check these renders and models out. I'm sure I've done other works, but these were what I've felt were done enough to upload somewhere Procedural Earthlike with Rings More angles at https://imgur.com/a/VreBjiU Mechwarrior Locust cockpit Procedural Marslike PBR test - Rubik's Cube

Hello there, I've been posting all my fan art on the Kerbal Space Program sub-reddit (as DJOzmanMJ) so far, but figured the best place to post them is on the KSP forum itself. So, I'll be posting all my previous artworks as well as any new ones on here. So what's the image below? I could go in detail but why don't you have a look at the deconstruction I posted on Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/2xLdNK. Simply put, I render most, if not all of my images in Element 3D - a 3rd party Plug-in from VideoCopilot for After Effects. Enjoy! - Tinem

Hello there people! Today I have yet another blender render for ya'll, this time I created Elon Musk in the shape of a fellow kerblad. I took a still image from the Behind-the-Scenes video made by National Geographics and tried to recreate the looks of Mr. Stark, all of which I did in Blender. This is what I came up with: You can use this as a desktop wallpaper if you want. Yours sincerely Roartal

Hello people, This is my first post on these forums (thanks to the moderator who approved this post! ) I've been messing around with some modelling and rendering in Blender using the Cycles renderer, thus I have come up with a nice little scene. We can see a brave kerblad on the surface of Ike, gazing into the vast empty space of the Kerbol system. In the background you can spot Duna, the most ferruginous orb that is known to kerbalkind. I'm not sure whether or not that suit would protect our green little friend from radiation and suffocation, but for the sake of this render we'll have to take it for granted. Yours sincerely, Roartal

Nights On Laythe Sunsets On Laythe Kerbin Left Behind Flying Over Laythe Mun Landing Kerbal SLS I will add more as I make more, also if you have an idea that you'd like to see rendered, I'd be happy to give it try if I think I can do it.

hi all crashateers, Since 1.0.5. ive just messing bout making contraptions til 1.2 arrives, when i noticed a big gap between floor and a parked vehicle on flat ground, looks terrible!! i havent noticed this before til now, havent really looked to be fair or played that much, but like i say, looks amateurish. its not just me is it? have a check and see how detached a vehicle seems from the ground to you. im 1.1.3 btw steam & 17 mods, this isnt bug report as i dont think it is a bug or mod effect, probly collider of those wheels......anyhoo Ive attached some pics in both db & imgur, if neither work let me know https://www.dropbox.com/home?preview=20160822210747_1.jpg http://imgur.com/a/Hpqcr what dya reckon? Aah, i embed wrong image lol this ones doing 11m/s, but i have jpg same vehicle parked, brakes on honest. -
I want to change the near clipping plane in KSP. It seems like it sticks out ludicrously far from the camera... I don't know how likely it is to make a plugin for reducing the value as there's no value for it in the settings.cfg file and it seems to only be changeable in Unity itself. Thoughts? I honestly have no idea where to ask this question as I'm usually only on the subreddits and nobody visits r/KSPModDevelopment or r/KSPMods.
