You're right. Like how they talked about dV numbers in the last devnote after posting it on... I don't even remember where now.

Oh wait they didn't talk about it in the devnote.

Anyway, I assume this is what you guessed, though that's not a "new" dimension. It's the current number of dimensions minus 1. If I came out to my car and saw it only had 3 tires I wouldn't say "Oh wow a new tire!"

I know but we're talking about Maxmap's puns. Anyway it's probably 3D printed rockets.

Ok, but even if Max's announcement is something minor, something is happening. I've been suspecting it since they announced 1.0 with only one beta release...
We already know that Squad want the game in more outlets than just Steam and their own website. Designating the game as a full release may well be motivated by that.
heh.. i think some folks are overthinking this. I mean not to long ago they had the partnership with NASA for 23.5 and the asteroid redirect mission
Now that's a fair point. I suppose a good reasonable scenario is a partnership with another space company. SpaceX is obvious given Elon Musk has complimented the game, but there are others. (Virgin Galactic, and we get new hybrid rockets and swing-wing parts? Well, a guy can dream.)

If it's related to our creations, I guess parts do that, so I'll bet on new parts (and maybe a scenario?)

What came to mind just from the first tweet was something with Space-X, where we get some kind of parts based on the Falcon 9 or Dragon, since they've come up a lot recently.

If it's stock Russian/Soviet parts, that would be incredibly useful, especially if they are Soyuz based.

Given the talk of different dimensions that I'm overlooking, there's probably a large degree of wishful thinking on my part in this prediction.

It couldn't possibly be that. That would be really cool, and they almost never hit the 'really cool' mark. Often they'll hit the 'cool' mark..but not 'really cool'.
