Try changing the colors. I've looked at the water settings via the scatterer menu by hitting alt-F11 but unfortunately I have no idea which value changes the water color.....or what to change it to... Why would you change real reflections off if I want the moon and stars to reflect light onto the water? They don't do that. Galileo already said it's not supported yet (I doubt the skybox reflection ever will be but planetshine is a thing that could be coming eventually) It only reflects the sky color. So if you don't want black water then you definitely don't want it reflecting a black sky

scottadges
Hi, I've run into an issue twice now and was hoping someone could help me diagnose an Exception that's getting spammed to my log and then hangs the game? Here's the error: [EXC 14:00:36.717] NullReferenceException scatterer.DisableEffectsForTextureReplacer.OnPostRender () UnityEngine.Camera:RenderToCubemap(RenderTexture, Int32) TextureReplacer.Script:Update(Boolean) TextureReplacer.Script:UpdateScripts() TextureReplacer.TRReflectionUpdater:Update() I'm not sure if this is a Scatterer issue since it also references Texture Replacer (which I've posted in that thread as well). It doesn't CTD, but Windows then errors out saying KSP isn't responding, etc. Can anyone shine a light on this issue? It's happened when I crossed into a new biome driving a rover on Minmus, then using [x] Science! it provides buttons to click on experiments. Then it hangs. I know Stock Visual Enhancements and GPP both do this. Check out their folders to see if there's one for scatterer; if so, check out the config & see what it's doing. dafidge9898
Hi, I'm running scatterer on 1.3.1 with a RO/RSS save. For some reason, earth appears to be covered in some white sheet. Is there a fix for this? Thanks! Edit: Sorry, did not see the format for bug reporting. KSP: 1.3.1 Windows 64bit Problem: Everything but the ground is white Mods installed: Scatterer 0.0324 Various part mods and Realism Overhaul + required mods. TheEnderman
So I have been having an issue where in space the terrain disappears. Images: https://imgur.com/gallery/teb2jSF The strange thing is this only happens around Kerbin, not Laythe or Eve. I checked inside the config settings menu and it said that Kerbin was using Laythe atmosphere configs. I tried to change it to Kerbin, but it wouldn't let me type. This is honestly really confusing me and i don't know whats causing it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! My visual mods: Scatterer 0.0331b, Spectra V1.1.7, realplume, planetshine, distant object enhancement.

Motokid600
I came across this post while searching for a solution to my issue with the skybox day/night transition. When searching I see my own post inquiring about hard transitions of the skybox in atmosphere. Following the post down to the one I linked I see blackrack supplied a .dll to fix it. Thats the one im currently using however the issue persists. Is there by chance anymore insight to be had on this? EdwardB3020
I am just wondering and I do know it works in kerbal space program 1.4.5 but it is not updated for 1.4.5 and it is mainly for 1.4.2, I'm just wondering when is this mod going to be updated. And I know Galileo has put up a notice of it on his rescale mod page, but I felt like checking out around which altitude the problem occured. I made screenshot of it at around 205km, just around the altitude where the problem starts to disappear gradually https://drive.google.com/open?id=1_1DU4XAXA8h8fVYJe_y6zy725Oe10rji <-Screenshot EDIT: forgot to mention, this is on ksp 1.3.1 So I got this same problem again, now in KSP 1.4.5. I am using scatterer v0.0331b in combination with AVP, EVE(Dependency for AVP) and Rescale 6.4x with it's latest dependencies. The altitude where it starts and stops is the same. If I need to add some sort of log file, let me know where I can find it(if has to be a specific log) of if it can just be the standard ksp log. The *hard* transitions from day-night night-day in a chronological sense still persist, and are a stock game issue. Which are you referring to? Delay
Hi, first off: Scatterer is definitely a mod that is worth a try. It looks beautiful and adds what stock KSP lacks. But I do have a question related to performance: What options can I disable that allow the game to run better, yet don't impair the visuals too much? Scatterer uses screen space post processing, like every other game out there except Kerbal Space Program for the past 15+ years. Unless you've got a really low end system, I wouldn't worry about it.
