All you need to do is install scatterer and Module Manager takes care of the rest.
TLTay
Hi, I am having a problem with some of my outermost planets being black forms with no texture, with the exception of some of the atmospheric planets which have a light haze around them, but no texture beneath. Most of the planets seem fine, and the ones on extrasolar work great too. I am using OPM, New Horizons, and extrasolar. All of them work well with sve/eve, but only without scatterer installed. I installed all of them manually, and tried deleting the flare components from the scatterer install. Nothing seems to work. Other mods are installed, but none caused the black planets. I heard it might have something to do with sun flare or some such, but I have not had any luck finding a place to start. Anyone have any ideas? I searched the thread and couldn't come up with a solution. Edit 1: I added the "Other Worlds" mod which adds a new star circling the Kerbin system, and it fixed most, but not all of the black planets. I'm guessing it has to do with light, so I'm going to try boosting the light output on the "other worlds" star and see what happens. The side facing the new star shows textures, but the side facing Kerbin's star is still featureless on a couple planets... Edit 2: All that did was make the textured side of the offending planets slightly more visible. Edit 3: I changed the config file on scatterer from full sun flare replacement = true to false. That didn't seem to work either. I can't seem to get the config to stay as false long enough to test it. Still at a loss. Also, I can't access the main menu options via ALT+F10... Danilka
When exporting the atmosphere from the ScattererTool into the game I had problems. The atmosphere in the game is different from the atmosphere that I created in the ScattererTool. I ask to help me with solving this problem. Thank you in advance! I'm sorry for my english. Lifeisgreasy
Has anyone come across an issue where the main menu settings for scatterer won't open? I can open open the settings with alt-F10/F11 or ctrl-alt-F10/F11 fine when a save is loaded and I can open it in the game settings menu, though the window that opens is blank, but at the main menu screen the shortcuts do nothing and showMenuOnStart is set to true. Id like to adjust things as scatterer is causing a 4Gb increase in ram usage.

Galileo
Scatterer works fine in 1.3.1. If you are having problems see the “how to get support” button in my signature and return with the correct troubleshooting files.
blackrack
Hello everyone, I was working on a lot of bug fixes in November but haven't been active since then. It's getting difficult to keep track of issues now, and the forums aren't exactly adapted for this. Lots of issues aren't described in enough detail, often without logs, reproduction steps, mods used including versions used for all mods etc. For correctly reporting issues I recommend reading this: Please follow the template, if you're too lazy to even click that here's the copy-pasted example: Quote KSP: 0.23 Windows 32bit Problem: Deadly Reentry destroys my RAPIER in closed-cycle mode Mods installed: Deadly Reentry Continued v4.1 Module Manager 1.5.0 Reproduction steps: Build a simple craft with a Mk1 pod, a long tank, two radial intakes, and a RAPIER. Take off, switch to closed-cycle mode. Watch engine overheat and explode. Log: <link>Output_log.txt Copy this, fill it in, add your log file and submit. Preferably submit your issue on github https://github.com/LGhassen/Scatterer/issues it will ease your life and mine. I will add all of this info to the OP and probably my signature. In the meantime, I released a new version with a few bug fixes I made from last time, changelog in the OP, I tested this with a few people and posted the dev versions here but got little feedback, let me know what new issues you find. Drew Kerman
so I've been staying off the latest Scatterer because it's messed up my atmospheres and I haven't wanted to bother taking the time to figure out why. Your configs are old and outdated, look at the config file shipped in the most recent version and do a diff and you will see that you have variables missing: http://www.mergely.com/yXNJrPXx/ From a quick look, the most important one is: EVEIntegration_preserveCloudColors = false Also, the config structure for ModuleManager patches changed in 0.0320b, take a quick look at other mods (ie SVE, GPP etc) to see how to do it correctly. I'll get it sorted From an old exchange with @Galileo, what you need to do is swicth to the following structure @Scatterer_atmosphere:FOR[SVE] { @Atmo:HAS[#name[Duna]] { *scatterer config node* @configPoints { @Item { *scatterer config node* } } } } Here is an example here: https://github.com/Galileo88/StockVisualEnhancements/blob/master/GameData/StockVisualEnhancements/SVE_Scatterer/Planets/Kerbin/atmo.cfg
TheKurgan
Anyone know what could be causing my flickering? Newest versions of SVE, Scatterer SVT, EVE, and Kopernicus.
TheKurgan
No planet packs installed, so there is only one sun. Please disregard, it isn't caused by any of the above mods, it is being caused by something with Physics range extender and vessel mover... when I move a vessel or even cover terrain fast in a fast jet, this flickering happens... the effects just seem to be amplified by the mods I mentioned above. Unturned_Fighter
KSP: 1.3.1.1891 Problem: The planet always appears as a white ball with 0 texture on the main menu and in map mode. Mods installed: Scatterer + Galileo's Planet Pack (+ other possibly unrelated mods) Reproduction steps: Unknown - this was not an issue on a previous install. Best possible steps are to install GPP + Scatterer Log: At this link EDIT: It appears this white sphere completely replaces the planetary texture. EDIT NO. 2: It appears this sphere also replaces the texture of every body. This includes the star (Ciro).
