Right after buying the retail version, i tried my hand at making a KSP mod based on Retro-futurism / art deco style rockets.

I made only a handful of parts (incomplete parts, no UVs/textures) before i dropped it. Mostly because browsing throught the mods list i found most mods here tend to be geared toward more "serious" space exploration. Also, the retro style of rockets don't work so well when multiple stages are involved.

I might continue the mod if there's anyone interested in retro rockets. I also take suggestions.

So, Yay or Nay?

Whoville Rockets!! Just kidding. Ok, I'm not. That's what popped in my mind. Rockets designed by Dr. Seuss. But I don't mean that in the negative. I can't model worth a darn. You clearly can. So if you like what you're doing, then go ahead. I'm guessing that serious players occasionally like the whimsical or 1920's vision of rockets.

My ten-year old self is in love with these! There's a very Disney/vintage sci-fi vibe that I really like. It would be interesting to see where you go with these designs. Flying them would be fun!

I've been thinking up a contract pack scenario that would involve locating alien artifacts that would in turn reveal secret tech tree nodes. Parts like these would be ideal for that project.

That's a great idea ! :)
