DuoDex
Yes.Generally the mod in question posts, or if they don't want to necro post, edits the OP. When that doesn't happen, we can check who did what to the thread by hitting "edit thread" under the special moderator-only options, which has a log of everything moderator-related that happened in the thread including approving moderation queue posts.Hey, that's cool. I didn't know we could do that.

peachoftree
what's the deal with 's in super old posts?
OddFunction
For mods that have been here a long time, what percentage of threads (obviously a rough guess) actually contain content that hasn't been posted before? You know... original content?I imagine after awhile its like refreshing reddits frontpage; you know all the content just by glancing at it, but on occasion something new pops up to keep up your interest. sal_vager
what's the deal with 's in super old posts? This is due to the forum software we used to use, simple machines, vBulletin is not quite able to handle the different format.

Most forums tend to have certain major discussion trends that get rehashed and refined over time.)

sal_vager
Where should I post savegames?Preferably somewhere with no annoying popups, ads, wait timers, demands that you login or need an account to download. We need an imgur for files... Red Iron Crown
Dropbox works nicely for hosting any kind of file.

Vanamonde
What will be the purpose of posting your save file? Obviously if you've got a bug, in the support section. If it's to show something you've done, perhaps mission reports?
windows_x_seven
I'd like to make an edited Career save with everything unlocked and lots of funds that I made available for download, since there may be people like me that like Sandbox but don't like the restricted Mission Control, RnD, Admin Building and science instruments, thus saving the time needed to edit the save file and filling the research tree. Or is that not allowed?

Thanks! No. The thread in and of itself does not keep track of which users are subscribed to it; the various users' forum accounts keep track of what that user is subscribed to. If that makes any sense.

Superfluous J
Ok, but where do I post it? Spacecraft Exchange?I believe it would qualify as an "Add-on Release." I also believe that things like this (i.e., things that aren't mods) are exactly why that forum is called "Add-on Releases" and not "Mod Releases." Vanamonde
Hey, the title of the thread is 'ask the moderators,' not 'ask the non-moderators.' But yeah, okay, it's a modified game, so the modding section seems like the best fit for it.

Rithsom
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but is there any reason why the sticky Forum Rules thread shows it's been "moved?"
Red Iron Crown
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but is there any reason why the sticky Forum Rules thread shows it's been "moved?"Convenience, it saves a click when going to view the rules. There is only one rules thread (for the obvious reason of making them less tedious to edit), and we used to have a sticky thread in each subforum containing a link to the rules. So you'd have to click that thread, then click the link. Now we have a redirect in each subforum instead, clicking that redirect brings you right to the rules in one click.
