"Eve: Order Zero" -- a KSP Graphic Novel (POSTLUDE COMPLETE...bet you didn't see THAT coming.)

Recommended Posts

Presumptuous of me to speak for anyone other than myself, but...

We love you for it, Kuzzter!

Happy landings!

Indeed! I'm regularly checking this thread just to see if there is a new chapter posted several times a day (Or for what people are saying about the most recent chapters). Kuzzter, you are doing an absolutely great ob with this series, and these past few chapters have just been fantastic! Keep up the amazing work (And maybe I should rep some other people now so I can actually give you rep again)!

When this started, I would never have acknowledged the scope and depth of emotional response that could be evoked by a graphic novel.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, you, sir, are an artist.

Thank you, once again.

Happy landings!

I love how the scansat is now permanently set to french :D

:D I've decided that only an Engineer can change the settings. I might set a probe for Polish or Portuguese one of these days, to name a couple other languages I know my friends speak--though I will mess that up even more than i mess up French! :)

Thanks! I had the same feeling when reading Order of the Stick, which started out as a crudely drawn collection of in-jokes about a game, and evolved into a LOT more. Won't give you spoilers but there are a lot of scenes there which are guaranteed to jerk a tear--and these are bloody stick figures! Now that, friends, is writing!

That, ladies and gentlemen...is how the true friendship looks like :) That last page is full of awesome - good way to end the chapter (without evil cliffhanger lol).

Thanks Scotius! I am really enjoying exploring this friendship and glad you are too. Already thinking ahead to that moment when they meet again! But don't worry, there will be two or three "pulling the wings off a fly" (to quote Mr. G) style cliffhangers before then ;)

Kerbals confirmed for mega ultra gay! Everyone rejoice! /s [though a little/lot of gayness would be appreciated]

Just for the record there is no smoochyness in my Kerbalverse, gay straight or otherwise. You'll have to write you own bob/bill I'm afraid! :)

Will indeed install that, thanks Parkaboy and Minmus for pointing it out.

In the save, both the KraneM7 and Mortingale have cleared Kerbin SOI and have solutions for Eve intercept. 53 days in-game until the first planar correction burn. At present am doing some 'maintenance' work in and around Kerbin SOI--thinking of a good way to present that as an Interlude and hopefully will have that for you before too long.

So as you play, do you just take an incredible amount of screenshots in anticipation of making pages for this webcomic? I want to see your screenshots folder!

I do take a bunch, yes. Typically when I am about to play through a segment of a mission that will be in the comic I have a general idea of how I'm going to present it on the page, so I take the shots I think I'll need from various angles as I go. I'll often take the same shot with and without F2 so that I can paste the character portraits somewhere alongside the 'uncluttered' image. More than once I've had to re-play a scene because I didn't get the right shot the first time. For scenese such as Dilsby's mohole nightmare and the Kerbahashi Maru scenario, I have a separate save where I hyperedit and mess with the persistence file to get the kerbals and ships where I need them to be.

Teaser while I work on the next bit:
