What's the glitchiest that game you ever played?

I hate when people say that KSP has bugs. They should stop being entitled and learn that Squad can't do anything about it and it's problems with unity, not them.

So you're saying that the quality of Squads product shouldn't reflect on them, because they chose to use a buggy engine? I'm not buying it. There are also plenty of bugs that are not Unity issues.

If your shiny new car falls apart, do you go complaining to the manufacturer you purchased it from or the subcontractor who pressed the body panels?

Not saying that KSP has bugs doesn't make them go away either.

Probably minecraft. This is what happened when I tried to play the game after not playing it for a full year:

I deleted it after about ten seconds.

That's what happens when you set the render distance to 32 on some servers.

To be fair, Squad decided to choose this engine. As a client and customer, it is only fair to look at the product and conclude that it is not fully functional. Whether Squad or some other party that Squad chose it to blame is really not relevant. That has nothing to do with entitlement :)

As a KSP fan I can forgive Squad, since they are doing so much good and they provide me with an excellent and fun game, but purely from a customer and client point of view it is not unreasonable to hold Squad responsible for the development choices they have made.

Probably the original Star Control 2, for DOS. On average, I had to restart my poor old 486 some 15 times a day because of that game. Still finished it.

Ah yes, I knew I was forgetting one. :) They patched that mess in a hurry, but the whole mystique and crazy story behind how Paul Reiche and Fred Ford disappeared from society and completely dropped off the radar to finish the game and wouldn't ship it was so very interesting. Involved some yarn about Alaska and a private detective. So very good but so very, very buggy at first. The later CD version that shipped in a combo set with the original Star Control was much better in terms of glitchiness.

Yes, Ur-Quan Masters is awesome. But I still remember sitting in a dark room for hours and hours, exploring that strange world, being impressed by those strange planets that look like a rainbow when scanned, not to mention the tech you could buy from Melnorme trader with that info... good times.

Oh, right, I almost forgot. X-COM 1 and 2 were also quite buggy :)

This was singleplayer.

2 games. Ultima 9 and Daggerfall. If you think KSP is buggy, give either of these a try. Plenty of documented bugs and glitches in DF (the game that saw the coining of the term The Void, as far as I know) and a pretty hilarious site about the weirdness that happens in U9 (Whacked Out Ultima for those in search for a laugh).

Savegame killers, BSOD and lockups, memory leak bonanza, flying horses and talking chicken and more made these 2 games really challenging to any immersion.

Carrier Command: Gaea Mission is pretty bad, or at least the pathfinding is. It's not really buggy as just poorly implemented I think.

Skyrim is probably the most buggy game I've ever played, and I think the only game where I've actually lost a save file because the bugs broke my game. Sometimes you never notice them, and the unofficial patches fix a lot of stuff, but the sheer fact that the patches deal with thousands of bugs is a pretty amazing testament to how spectacularly bug ridden that game is.

Which hasn't stopped it being my favourite, but then, I played LCPD:FR, a mod for GTA 4 that tends to crash every 20-40 minutes once you tack a few more mods on top of it. It's borderline masochistic to play that mod with a good setup (good meaning extra mods that expand on the gameplay). LSPD:FR, for GTA 5, is infinitely more stable, though not yet as developed.

I've always wondered, how come I'm one of the only people for whom KSP's bugginess limits to running out of memory due to a huge amount of mods and a limited amount of RAM? Which fixed itself when I got some more RAM, so that the 4 RAM available to 32bit KSP wouldn't be taken up by the OS and other stuff.

That said, I seem to never run into any sufficently dangerous bugs in any game I play, outside of heavy modding, and even then it's my fault most of the time for forgetting something.

KSP is bugged in late game regardless of number of mods, more in the 1.03 version because of the memory leak.

If you have less than 3.8 GB ram for the game it will crash much faster. I will not call it real playable at anything more than demo level in an 32 bit os who would not give much more than 2gb for game.

Many other games are very unstable if you run them at minimum specifications.

The memory issues makes KSP the buggiest game I have played. Exception might be Daggerfall, patched it was stable however it was very easy to break the main quest and it had lots of other issues like 1/3 of the skills was pointless, it was easy to fall out of an dungeon and into void. More fun bats tend to end up in the void to flying around and stop you from sleeping.

Vigilante-8 Second Offense for the Sega Dreamcast.

That game.

THAT FREAKING GAME.

This is really the only good video I could find

but imagine that kind of nonsense, but everywhere.

Lots of bouncing around off phantom vertical walls, lots of infinite-frictionless-plane weirdness, lots of zooming around at warp speed with your vehicle clipped halfway in the ground.

My brother and I learned how to exploit this game so bad, we really enjoyed it. Lots of giggling.

It had "cheats" too that would just make it more ridiculous...
