VenomousRequiem
I feel like the boosters could be smoother. Also what happened to the Soyuz spacecraft you were working on a while ago? Is that going to come along with this? What's the diameter of the second stage if this?

Contares do not build Sojuz spacecrafts. All works on this is cancelled. Tantares make a very good job with Sojuz and co. The sizes take out of following picture:
CobaltWolf
I think the boosters would look better in the transition is smoother - not just out of accuracy, but I also think it would look significantly nicer/sleeker/cooler. However, overall I think it looks very nice. Captures the good parts of the old Tantares Soyuz, while improving a lot of the other areas - the engines in particular look very nice! Also, what is the different tank on this R7 for? The adapter above the boosters. It is different than the ones in the other screenshots you showed. The boosters are not as far away from the Orignial as it seems. Please note that the view from KVV is not perspective. Take a look at ingame in 3 or 4 weeks. The upper part of the central stage will be in 3 sizes. With the dimensions of the first R7 variant, the slightly longer of the Molniya and the medium size of the last 2.x. 11 minutes ago, NeoFatalis said: I think it would be nice if the engines would also have texture switch, if I rememeber correctly not all soyuz rockets had orange engines (also I think those orange engines look horrible 0_o) Let me test with texture switcher. Many user like the orange, i'm too.

I love the more granular part selection, it's something I try and do in BDB. Actually, I don't think that will translate well, let me try again: I like how you are doing parts to make all the subtle variations of the launcher. Considering how important the R7 family is, and how many versions of it have flown, it certainly deserves to have that sort of detail given to it. The orange upper stage is a LH2/LOX Ø 1.5m with 4 RK-Z-0146 engines. More details will be come when all parts ready. Planed versions to rebuild with Contares parts: - R7 [~60 orbital launches] - Vostok [~120 orbital launches] - Voskhod (U; L) [~750 orbital launches] - Molniya (M) [~300 orbital launches] - Soyuz (FG; 2; 2.1 a/b) [>350 orbital launches] Edited November 4, 2016 by hraban

Drakenex
Can't find any part from the PCS, are they included? Thanks! Nevermind, opened the wrong game instance Edited November 6, 2016 by Drakenex
drZuko
May I ask how you're able to make blueprints via KVV? Are you porting your creations over to a previous install of KSP where KVV still works, or is there some new, clandestine version of KVV for 1.2.1 that I don't know about

As a developer, one learns first: Preserve a running system at least as long as really everything in the new version runs without errors and keep it still longer. The status of KVV can be tracked at any time on GitHub. There is no really running version for KSP 1.2.1 yet. Remark: Do not make a bad face when a mod you like is still not running. Try to do everything to support the modders!

I'm not sure I understand what you mean? We use real world ISPs. And BDB isn't replica any more than Contares is. And again, I spend my time making the models. That's my job for the mod. Because they have thrusts, weights, ISPs that match stock engines, and the tanks have appropriate dry mass and fuel for given volumes. For the record, I didn't intend for that face to come off as a face of frustration, but rather as a face of confusion. Though it may be frustrating at times to not have everything up to date, I completely understand the amount of work that goes into modding and so I have nothing but the utmost respect and gratitude for the people who take time out of their lives to provide us free content
