(that's right, the song is (slightly) older than me, and dates from the original Space Age) Bingo!!! Have a Cigar! hehehe Quick story, Set the Controls was on two albums, Saucerful of Secrets and Ummagumma, a live album that came out about a year later in 1969. Now 1969 I was 7, and my mother was a church councilor for the teenagers, and I remember quite well one of them playing Ummagumma for us after it came out. It was so beautifully weird, and was a huge influence in shaping how I grew up musically. I had planned on using that song title as a Floyd tribute for a long time. SpaceplaneAddict
Yeah, I'm guessing the passive radiators on the solar panels, should you keep them open, will suffice to radiate heat at that altitude. Now, it's a matter to... Stay Determined . . .

Spoiler At least HE knows foreign policy (Jeb! or Jebediah one of those two, you pick so I'm not responsible) lol Ok I'd better stop before I have to ask what 2.2b says lol Edited April 15, 2016 by Jeb! Mister Dilsby
Quote Edited just now by Jeb! Like this Exactly. ETA: For those who can't be bothered to read the Guidelines (and WHY NOT?!!) 2.2b forbids any messages of a political nature. I take that to include statements of opinion or statements of fact that would tend to support an opinion regarding any holder of public office, candidate for same, or policy or proposed policy of any government or state existing or which has ever existed anywhere up to an altitude of 100km on the third planet of the Sol system. Oh, and back on topic, @Just Jim, I have a quick question that's been bothering me for a while. How on earth did you originally get the Raptor into orbit off Kerbin? I've been racking my brain, and every time it says the drag and weight of the Raptor's giant wings will flip any other stages attached long before it gets through the atmosphere. (Because I've tried lol) Edited April 15, 2016 by Jeb!
superstrijder15
I'm to lazy to do good research, but maybe he could have hung two of them from the bottom of a huge SSTO as tailfins...

Speaking of, I checked on the bug report and it looks like they might be homing in on the problem.

Anything with wings can be dragged into orbit, no matter how unwillingly, kicking and screaming all the way, by a bass-ackwards SSTO lifter. I have always considered this a metaphor for the recruiting practices of my Circus

Plain and simple, she died of old age. I'm really bummed... I'm gonna really, really miss her. Probably won't be online much for the next day or two. I'm really sad to hear that.....:( Take whatever you need.....we're with you.
Crystal_Mace
Just finished the new chapter and I love it! Did the pirates take the chariot with them...? I really thought the twins were going to end up in the Edwardian hotel room at the end of the universe evolving into the next stage.... hoping the aliens know how to manage staging properly..... umm....RE: rule 2.2b....does being rabidly pro-space count as a political position....? Yikes....! Good luck with all the bug fixes bearing fruit sometime soon.....I'm loving 1.1 pre-release, not plagued by any bugs so far... I can't say that for Space Engineers which I bought from Steam last weekend during the sale......WAY buggy....but I love it anyway! I wonder if their website has a fan-fiction section too? If they do, you might start reading the tales of one Wren Meechum...handicapped Space Engineer, dedicated to helping make space accessible....:) Still thinking of writing about Verzey Kerman...marooned in Munar orbit but waiting for the day they build the first Munar tracking station around her....so she can be the first station commander. Just Jim
OK, boys and girls... there's good news and... well.... strange news... lol Good news is we have a bug fix!!! Build 1215 seems to have fixed the asteroid problem, and Emiko Station loaded correctly from the tracking station! 3 cheers for the DEV team!!! The strange news is it seems to have rotated about 90 degrees. I'm not sure why, if it's a result of the bug fix, or what. I'm not terribly concerned, and I'm thinking I can work it into the story..... just unexpected. Anyway, I'm not going to be able to do much tonight, but tomorrow I'll regroup and get back to playing and writing!!!
max_creative
Huh. It got rotated. You can still use the stabilization pods right? Or did you remove them? Also, emiko looks super cool now!

I'll see if that's still true in the latest build. But up until now, the Klaw has been pretty much broken.

I didn't check mine too close, but it may be buried inside the asteroid at the moment. Edited April 18, 2016 by Just Jim
