@Jimbodiah

For convenience, this is the link to "The Daily Kerbal" that folks have been mentioning: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/forum/66-the-daily-kerbal/ If you go to this link you'll find multiple dev blogs which list out what each developer is doing (for the most part) by name and by forum name which I think can help you kill two birds with one stone, as it were.

This is the link to the most recent devblog which was posted on Tuesday (1/12/2016): http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/129815-devnote-tuesday-where-did-we-leave-the-bugspray/

With regard to what you're saying about the main landing page for KSP (not the forums), I think that typically only announcements for major releases have been posted there. It is possible that 1.1 will be big enough to make the main landing page, but it is not updated for each iterative update in between majors, in my experience.

Was there something besides the announcement section that bothered you?

Also, in earnest, I am not SQUAD staff.

Look I think you are not getting what I mean with "site". I mean site as in the static www content you get when you go to KSP, the page that has the 1.0 announcement

It's also listing "news" with the most recent item from January 13. What am I missing here that would indicate Squad has gone out of business since then?

There's no 1.1 version yet, so yes, 1.0 is the most recent "big version." Adobe, Microsoft, Electronic Arts and countless others don't announce minor updates on their landing page either, why would Squad?

@Bandus  @mcirish3 @Kerbart Thanks for the answers!

Some kind of life, or updating the 1.0 announcement to 1.0.5 at least would should some life signs. It's the first thing people see when they look for KSP. Scrolling to the bottom of the page for news means it's kind of not important enough to put it on the top where you see it when you come it.

The sarcasm of "still in business" went over the heads of some people it seems, but meh.

@Jimbodiah  so your little trollscapade  has had one good result in that I actually went to the KSP page for the first time in many months.  Wow I had not noticed how much has changed there over the last year.  it is actually a very nice looking site.  I know the 1.0 slide is the first one to come up but they have several others that follow it.  Perhaps they could at this point take down the 1.0 sign or redo the scene without the 1.0 in it but otherwise it all looks great to me and nothing about it says this is a one booster show.
