No, it's meant to dock, it uses the 7.5 units of monopropellant in the cockpit and 2 O-10's. The docking port is on the back. The regular version has actual monopropellant tanks, lights, drogue chutes, and RCS thrusters. Both versions carry 5 Kerbals. I have one at the incomplete Mizy and Seekin station. Yes it's a crew rotation vehicle. The problem is the regular version has a part count of about 15. The docking adapter is permanently docked though.

Ok thanks. I have the crew transfer vehicle and adapter on my stations but they have a lot more fuel. 

And @Jetski, it would it be easier for me if I could use the regular CTV, would it be ok? It's a CTV so it's a temporary thing. And the adapter was already 5 parts. 

Edit: also, are there any free standard docking ports?

Ok. I haven't got home yet, but I know the adapter and CTV work, so those are going up fast. I still need to know if I can use the regular one though. 

Edit: just checked, yes there are ports. I'm probably going to use the one one the fuel pod thingy.

For what it's worth, you can use anything you want to visit the station, attach module, transfer crew, whatever.  Even mods.  The only requirement is that nothing mod-related can ever get attached to the station and passed along in the save, as that will break the save for everyone.  Deorbit and recover everything you launch, leaving only the 5-part module to show you were ever there :)

Also, @max_creative you have the save currently, so let us know if you decide to scrub the mission or anything so the next launch can continue.

Ok. Just please don't take up the fuel pod docking port because I want to use it for my module. 

Edit: just looked at the current station and came up with ideas. You don't need to do one of these: 

  • radiatior unit 
  • updated escape pod 
  • small xenon unit 
  • solar panels 
  • cool looking mk2 crew cabin thing 

I just came up with some ideas.

Okay, I have docked @KAL 9000's lab (finally) and now I am sending up a 6 way node. @max_creative Which fuel pod? I don't think I took it, but if I did, you can move it around.

EDIT: I am sending up a 6 way node with 4 new crewmembers. I edited their names. (You'll see)

I'm talking about the one that's mk2 on one side, 1.25 on the other, and 2.5 in the middle. I don't think you took it and if you did I can find some other place to park. 

Edit: the station has only 2 gigantors and a few RTG's for power. It is in serious need of solar panels!

Darn, I'm getting within 200m of the station and it's exploding.

EDIT: I'm going to try re-loading the game. The game won't let me save, even. If I approach the station with cheats (unbreakable joints) on, it spazzes out like a ragdoll kerbal. Hopefully reloading fixes it.

EDIT EDIT: I had to reload a save from before I launched my module. I'll be a bit late, but It will work out.

I hope it works! Pretending to do homework while doing stuff in the ksp forums Homework is almost done, so after your done I hopefully will have the new adapter done. It's going to get redesigned to have 2 big panels, 2 docking ports (one for the CTV and one to attach to the station) 2 mk2 crew cabins, and a mk2 RCS tank.

Okay, I have a video of my test of the Mass Relay.

@max_creative I think I added one total large docking port, but took away one regular port. I sent up two modules, KAL 9000's lab from ages ago and my Habitation module.

Also, in general, could people use the mass relay on debris (if you can)? It would be interesting to watch.

Also, @Spudrotuskutarsu Make sure you took the save in my post and not the one in the first post. The first post is probably outdated by now.
