Last night, I dreamed about KSP and Minecraft

I drempt I was playing KSP from a Minecraft perspective, I had to dig and find ore and other minerals to build KSC, met some villagers who wanted to lend a hand, mined and crafted all the parts to build a rocket then went to Minmus. On the voyage back to Kerbin, one of the decouplers was on the wrong stage and the engines collided with the heatshield, and we burned up in the atmosphere, upon the vessel exploding, I woke up in a cold sweat.

I used to kill Kerbals for fun, but now I have more empathy for Kerbals then ever before.

I generally have weird dreams. Unfortunately, only one had a hint of KSP in it. Long story short, there was a giant ancient library made from purple flowers and gold. It was shaped like a space shuttle. I had to pilot a mini space shuttle (like in KSP) out of that giant space shuttle and I crashed it in a fountain. There was one angry tourist in the back screaming his head off. This sound soo much like one tourist story in one of my early career modes...

Also, in someone else's dream, I was flying a spaceship, but then it was blown up by a laser-gun-wielding Squidward.

I should make a thread about weird dreams.

@Xyphos I read your post and the post important thing I wondered was whether it was Minecraft music or Kerbal music in the background of your dream.  I'm... weird.

Funny, I dreamed last night that I was in a alternate universe were not enough was different to notice off the back, but I learned later that a lot of things were different, such as the ISS never being built, etc.  It was pretty surreal, like one of those dreams were you can actually make decisions and stuff.  I ended up trying to explain rockets and the ISS to a ton of people, all of which weren't very interested.  Weird stuff.

I occasionally have dreams involving zero-G (although it's not accurate since I've never actually experienced zero-G yet ) but none about KSP. I did fly a space shuttle once in a dream, though not very well . I wonder what astronauts dream about.

I used to have some amazing dreams about spaceflight.  I mean it just felt like space.  Absolutely silent accept the sound of fans humming and air blowing around.  I remember the air feeling cool, dry, and anti-septic.  Realistic zero-G sensations (as well as high G from launch and such).  More then anything it was the feel and smells that seemed real.  

After playing alot of KSP I lost those hyper-realistic sensation dreams and now just see Kerbal.  Like I'm watching unfolding game-play.  I'm actually a bit disappointed.  I miss those old dreams.  Ah well.

It's not an accident that Kerbals look so akin to Creepers...

Next time try to use Fus-Ro-Dah — both to repel the green beasts and to kill your vertical velocity.
