Welcome to the forums.

If you look back one page and read the posts there, you'll see that, although your question isn't answered directly, the implication is that SVE has not yet been updated and released for KSP 1.8 by the author.

This mod works as long as Environmental Visual Enhancements is updated, which it is, so yes this will work in 1.8. 

I cannot recall if I removed the version file, but in the case that I did not, ignore the version warnings and load the game as normal.

Look in the OP. They are linked right next to each other. It literally says "to install". Follow the instructions.

Once on the GitHub page, try scrolling. You'll find the cfgs directly under the textures.

they are not inside the folder it seems

Please read the topic in the sig block, below, on how to report a problem.  While there might a simple solution, the insight you provide by posting a link to your log file can be truly time-saving for those attempting to help.  More information such as which versions of KSP and this mod you're using, other mods, and any debugging attempts you tried would be invaluable.

Why does Kerbin look like that on my KSP? I'm not sure if this is because I'm using 1.8 or if it is because of a weird thing when you first start up the game with this mod, and also, I'm not sure if this is only caused by scatterer. :huh: Whatever the case, please help me!

How are you installing your mods and what version of Scatterer are you using?

You've got broken clouds, and yet EVE isn't even visible. I suspect you've accidentally dragged some folders into sub folders, because the DLLs will still load, but might behave whacky.

can confirm latest SVE scattere cfg isn't loaded properly. Redownloaded and reinstall scatterer and SVE ~4 times

I'm using SVE and Scatterer (latest versions) in my 1.8.1 install and it seems to be working alright.  Are you identifying something specific from logs that tells you or going by what you see on screen?

I've downloaded all of them and extracted each one then put them in the game data folder. But, the clouds and ocean are all white and ksp's buildings are sort of transparent. I'll provide a screenshot and log soon right after this. 

Mods: 

Scatterer 

All of the linked mods. 

None other. Oh, also 1.8 thing. 

I don't know what to do. I'm really new...

No worries!   The best thing you can do to help us is give a full list of your mods, plus post your log files on a hosting site and link them here.   That way we can go through them and help figure out what's going on.  Other's may also ask for other stuff too.

Which file-sharing web sites should I use? 

Also list of mods: SVE, SVE textures, EVE I don't know how to get rid of the config. (Deleted what configs I could find.), MM (Duh), Kopernicus, Scatterer, Planet Shine, and Distant Object Enhancements. [I don't have anything else than that, I just want visual mods. Also, it works fine with only scatterer. Once I add anything other than MM it just does it. 1.8 and all mods to the latest updates.])

How to make bug. Grab all of those mods. Extract them. Smash them into the gamedata folder. Watch KSP kill itself. (All latest files and steam version.) I'll get to screenshots soon because I'm away from my computer of doom. Plus, everything else.) 

One word: Help!

Thanks! I will be trying to fix it tomorrow and send you all that you guys need. I've read through the stuff already but none of it solves it. (Fun Fact: I read those right when the issue happened.) 

Also, 145 hours reached. First 50 was killing kerbals. Oh man I love that. 

On a real note, Drive will be used and I'll send a lot of screenshots.
