Shpaget
A bit of a downer in the spoiler. Spoiler A friend of mine that had more than 700 skydiving jumps and 500 base jumps at the time bought a new wing suit. She was excited about it; talked about buying it for months in advance. Then on her first jump with it something went wrong. She opened the chute too late and died on the way to hospital. She was 26. We used to joke with her about jumping out of perfectly good airplanes and other such stuff. I like dark humor, but ever since that day these jokes are not quite as funny. Cydonian Monk
Remember when we couldn't take random pictures of the sunset? (2017-08-17, Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve, Idaho, US.)
tater
I always took random sunset pics, but fewer (though I left a (film) camera in my car all the time, just in case ).
Shpaget
Sunsets are always a good thing to shoot. One of mine from a few years back (22.7.2012).
Cydonian Monk
And here's a "Sunrise" photo.... Or at least a photo taken near Sunrise Camp at Mt Rainier in Washington State.
XB-70A
Some pictures taken in January 2015, during another day passed on Ushant. A closer view, and you could have noticed all the rust trying to be covered by the fresh paint Port of Stiff, the most common arrival site on the island. Beautiful sky. Pretty surprising during that season. --- And some photos took on the coast of Brittany, during two of the traditional winter storms. IncongruousGoat
I know I'm a bit late to the party, but here's a photo of sunset over Troy, NY: Not nearly as good as the sunsets you all have found, but nice nonetheless. Taken in late January. On a completely different note, here are a couple of pictures I took on the trail up Giant Mountain in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate NY: These were taken two weeks ago. XB-70A
Some pictures taken yesterday at Orlando Executive. King Air 350. King Air F90 with an U.P.S. A300-600F on final for the international airport. CL-601 Challenger. Two white birds for the price of one. Thanks to Virgin Atlantic for giving us a bit of quads in these annoying bi-engine times. "U mad bro?" Cydonian Monk
Somewhere in the Lamoille Valley in Vermont. Nice state. Lots of red shacks and farmhouses up there. Really wish I'd had GPS on my camera for this road trip though. (2014-07-11)
tater
Just got back from the weekend in San Francisco... Russian Hill, looking towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Downtown, from Coit Tower Coit tower, and a halo around the sun.
XB-70A
Went back to KORL yesterday, and the day before, but the weather was still bad. Anyway, some nice birds were present, mechanical and natural. Learjet 60. I just love its unique top-mounted landing light. Proud and menacing? (in fact, this bad boy found a way to poo right in front of me two seconds later...) CitationJet CJ1 Then came the biggest surprise of the day! Spoiler The Falcon 50 always being my favorite bizjet I can't describe how crazy I was to see one still flying around here. The still so good Mitsubishi/Hawker 300/400. Learjet 45. The young cormorant was proudly standing on the "throne" usually reserved to an old great blue heron living around here, because... Spoiler Its Majesty was hunting ans appreciating its royal feast. Hitchcock's birds are back! Challenger 300. Finally, another surprise with this tiny SF50, the first I ever saw in flight. Too bad that the rain and lack of luminosity ruined the quality.

Airdude
Here’s the follow-up! Until I find a way to get better photos without using a phone camera, this will have to do. Also a Favorelle picture from today. Edited May 24, 2018 by Airdude

StrandedonEarth
I got back from Mexico Last night, so here's my best pics, taken with mostly with Canons First, flying over the waters near Cancun certainly looks tempting: (iPhone) The locals had a party basking between the pool and the beach... Although some were shy... One of our favorite sights in that 30C+, 100% humidity climate... I think the dolphin may have found some sand fleas in my beard... (pic taken by one of the pros at the Dolphinaris)... Last night there: One tequila, two tequila, threee tequila, floor! One last (Tequila) Sunrise, and we were on our way home...
