Hey guys, i just have some questions:

Does something count as a "launch" if it technically never leaves the surface? 

Is there a limit to the space agency's current technological standing? As in, are SSTOs and mining rigs allowed? I'd assume so, just checking. I plan to make both.

1. Yes it does. Even failed missions count as a launched because atleast it moved somewhat.

2. Yes they are, DMSP was talking about asking someone to send an SSTO to the Mun to resource scan.

Also have you finished your turn? It's nearly the 7th of september (School intensifies)

So they're permadeath missions? Huh. i didn't know that until now. 

ALSO, MY TURN IS NOW DONE. (CLOSE CALL EH?)

I sent an EVA-ball court (36 parts) and a light orbital tug (20-ish parts) to unity station on a reusable booster.

The reusable booster launched and landed without a hitch. However, i forgot to add power generation to the orbital tug. It still has semi-decent power storage, though, so it could still be used to rendesvous and dock future payloads, if anyone wanted to use it. It's docked at Unity.

The EVA ball court is a (hopefully) fun sport for 2-4 kerbals. The goal is for one team to push the "ball" onto the other team's docking port. You switch teams every 10-60 seconds, depending on how you want to play. The first team to dock the ball wins! Hopefully. The court may have some kind of crew transfer/eva glitch in it, i'm not sure.

Here is a current picture of Unity Station. Current part count: 245, runnable for most computers larger than a netbook.

For the second "launch", i, uh, made an aircraft carrier.

It's parked a little outside the space center. It's 100m long, which means it should be big enough to land some small fighters or VTOLs on. I know, i've done it. It's 150 parts, which is a little high, but very low compared to most other carriers. Hopefully people have fun with it.

No, the second a spacecraft leaves the ground it counts as a launch. Maybe this will change for SSTOs, but for now, we'll keep it at that.

Alright! @quasarrgames's turn is over. Quite a nice carrier out there. @Chiron0224's turn is up now.

I've updated a few of the rules, so check them out if you want. And it's been a looooooong day at school, so I played a bit with the KX-6 Yellowjacket from @Shamash (I'm pretty sure it's the same user... Right?)

Also time dilation for me is weird. When this project launched, everything went by so fast and when it came to the first days of school the time just takes so long to tick. Is anyone feeling what I'm feeling?

I think my PC can handle that part count. I'll regret it, but it'll be worth it.

Say for example I want to set it in the water first before sending it on it's merry way since the KSC doesn't have a direct launchpad to the sea.

Yeah, I agree. Even with the shorter time schedules. I kinda want to change it, but everybody needs two days, it's only fair.

Just completed my launch to dock my new habitat module with Gateway Station.  Here is the album

EDIT: Screw it.  I have no idea why it doesn't save the correct order of the images.  I keep re-arranging them and then when I click the link in this post they are wrong again.  You guys are smart, I'm sure you'll figure out the correct order.

RE-EDIT: Just looked again and now the images are in the right order. lol

 i will be putting a unmanned stock replica of the dragon V2 on, a unmanned mercury capsule and a few tanks of fuel so it can be an refuelling station.

might as well put some more docking ports of all sizes on the gateway station

it looks like i'll be landing the F9R first stage on the carrier...

i'll make sure it won't overheat. btw, is jeb still alive??

Good luck with that landing. Yes, I think (unless @Chiron0224 has messed up some things up there), that Jeb is still alive.

lol, no I didn't kill Jeb.  I assume he's aboard one of the stations because I didn't see him in the astronaut complex.  Also it was late when I finished my turn yesterday so I didn't end up uploading the file.  I'll do it tonight when I get home from work.

I'd gladly run a refueling/transfer mission with an ATV-like craft (33 parts, stock).

By the way, what do you want transferred (besides monoprop of course)? I happen to have two empty service bays as cargo space.

I'm not sure we need anything. It's your choice!

Am I allowed to post shuttles/payloads, even if I do not sign up for the save? I would like to contribute more ,but school does allow enough time to spend on a save, and since I can only have the save for a short time I would get 0 stuff done in it, or I would forget and never give back the save lol.

Well, in October, weekends and a holiday come up. You could go then. And yes, you can post stuff for people to go put up.

@ScriptKitt3h, I have no save tonight. I'll try to get up early tomorrow to get the save to you, once I get it.

You can cut into my turn if needed.

For "realism", I'll probably ferry a mixture of monoprop and ore tanks. 

Also: if I launch two crafts in a single launch, would you count it as one or two launches?
