Okay... so uhh, how does this work exactly? Do we buy a plot of land to build a house on or claim it? I just lost my temporary home and I need to make a house pretty fast.

EDIT: Just realised how the claim works :) Made a little hole in the ground about 50 blocks away from spawn in the Taiga, if anyone wants to ditch something in my chest :) it's by the wood and cobblestone pole I just made. If anyone has objections to my house location feel free to tell me :) 

Also, a notice board says I need to ask Sparky for a letterbox. If that's true, than my house is currently at coordinates 122x and 259y

You just kinda start building and hope that people don't accidentally build on your area...

Looks at everyone who has accidentally built something on my land.

I just need a lot of materials and iron tools :wink: I can't mine at Y=12 at the moment seeing as I hit a player created mineshaft, but diamond isn't something I need. If I need to mine I can just move a bit away from spawn.

I might make a build World to make a design for my house and get required materials.

Jeb door = 2x2 door. Ill only need the materials (12 sticky pistons, 12 red stone and 2 repeaters). I also memorised a 4x4 vault door too.

And @DarkOwl57 the Minecraft one.

I have nether rack, flint and steel, and I know how to make a pixel art that says "NO."

Not just any door! A 2x2 Jeb door is 2x2 piston door that is flush with the wall when closed.

Not just any door! A 2x2 Jeb door is 2x2 piston door that is flush with the wall when closed.

The Jeb door also uses BUD Pistons for the bottom half, so the design does not work correctly in Pocket Edition.

Yes. Yay another redstoner! 

In PE they purposely don't have piston quasi-conductivity, so when the bottom pistons are two blocks away from power and the top pistons give them a block update when they extend the bottom ones don't extend because they aren't powered. In PC the redstone line powers the bottom pistons through the top ones and the top ones give them a block update causing them to extend. Quasi-conductivity allows pistons to be powered diagonally or from two blocks away. They won't extend until you give them a block update, which makes them good for block update detectors (before the observer) and for making extended pistons that aren't powered. 

I like redstone way too much don't I? Nah. That's not possible.

Five things. Smallest announcements to largest. 

First off, The Hunting Reserve Lodge is ready for use. It has animals and should be (mostly) mobless during the daytime.

Secondly, if anyone makes written books of stories, instructions, etc (anything of note) should be given to me as I'm going to make a library here soon to encourage you to write this. 

Third, development of the Grand Exchange for the economy system is partially built and is nearing completion. Thanks to a suggestion by @Dfthu, once construction of the spawn one and the library, there will then be a mini version in Paradise City. 

Fourth, if you would like to help create this Econ system (help is much desired AND appreciated!) let me know. Depending on your efforts there may be in game rewards.

Fifth and lastly, due to @MK3424 being occasionally busy with life and @SparkyFox recently undergone heart surgery, that means I'll be the only moderator available, so expect to see me a lot more often in the following weeks. And no, I'm not considering new hands... yet. Not that I don't trust you, there are other reasons.
