Especially with solid fuel boosters (e.g. the JA206 from BDB), I always have the problem that the Drainex 1 Fuel Sensor does not trigger the next stage when the fuel is empty. At least according to the display, there is no fuel left. I suspect that there is still fuel in some decimal place and therefore the sensor is not triggered.
If I set 1 here on the sensor, the next stage is triggered. The problem here is that the booster still has thrust due to the remaining fuel and the probability of a collision with the rocket is high.
Is there any solution here?

That sounds more like a BDB problem to me since it's the booster that's at fault here. Ping Rodger in the BDB thread. They'll be able to adjust the fuel consumption values.
