ctbram
I am confused. I get the message: cannot warp faster than 1x while under acceleration. Do you mean I have a waste a RL hour and 20 minutes to make a f-ing ion drive burn??? f-ing really?
RayneCloud
Question: Do I need persistent thrust as well as this to enable long burns?
AmanitaVerna
I am also confused. I tried setting it to physics warp in space, but still could not go faster than 1x under acceleration. It seems like selecting physics warp in the gui only allows changing the multipliers, not turning it on. Am I missing something or does this mod not do what the description says it does? damerell
Having forum issues, but trying without a quote, to RayneCloud: If I interpret "enable" correctly, you probably want one or the other. This lets you crank the physics warp up and either the burn finishes quickly or the Kraken claims your ship. Persistent Thrust lets you do the burn under normal timewarp. To AmanitaVerna: This just changes the multipliers; you use the ordinary keys (Modifier + . or Modifier + ,) to turn physics warp on in vacuum. The mod doesn't do that because you can already do it in stock. To ctbram: You're probably pressing the key for normal timewarp, like a poster above. AmanitaVerna
Oh! I had no idea you could do that in stock!

Since you just discovered this , I'd suggest that you just use the stock settings for a while to get used to what they are doing before using this mod. Flush Foot
@linuxgurugamer ... I know that Simple Repaint is not your mod, I am wondering if you have any idea why two mods (yours/this one and Project Orion) 'break' when that mod is installed. "No idea / don't have time to investigate" are perfectly fine responses, I just thought I'd "flag" it.

This is kind of like bringing your car to a mechanic and saying that it's broken, please fix, and not telling them what is wrong

Look at the SimpleRepaint blacklist, see if you can add the parts from these two to it.

erraticVib
Hello I'm having a problem with this mod that has been mentioned a few times in the past Basically when i use it the engine audio cuts off at random intervals (usually when i open or close the map), I'm playing with around 40 other mods and i tried to start the game both via steam and ckan, disabling this mod removes the issue Only the engine audio gets cut off (the music and other sounds remain) and the only way that i found to reenable it is to close and restart the game Is there any known fix for this? Hangdog
With this installed, I can no longer time warp while on the surface, only in space. (Trying to speed up mining). The green arrows appear, but it only lights one up . ideas?
yoyotam3
I would love if lossless physics warp was fixed/reimplemented at some point. Right now it doesn't seem to actually do anything.

Because as far as I can tell no-one, not even the maintainer, knows what it did or what it's meant to do.
Kihon
It's not doing anything for me. How do you actually use it. I click on the Five Warp and click Select and get the message 'New time warp rates Five Warp, on screen but warp is still 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x when pressing the warp key. The window shows 1: 1x, 2: 5x, 3: 10x etc but pressing keys 1, 2, 3, etc does nothing? Confused!
damerell
At a guess, you are adjusting the on-rails warp rates while using physwarp, or vice versa.

Don't quite understand what you mean by on-rails warp rates but yes! Was using trying to use Five times warp when I was in physics warp height, or however that works (the altitude where normally you can only warp up to x4). Selecting Physics Warp 4-12 allowed me to increase warp at these lower altitudes. Cheers.

On-rails is the opposite of physics warp - much higher rates but the craft can't do anything, used out of atmosphere.
