Might spin it off into a separate "challenge" if there was enough interest.

I would certainly be interested. (also interested in pushing the definitions of "wing suits")

P.S. I don't know how to make rotating float gears and propellers.

The propellers are probably too much work to build properly... and very big.  But something similar to this could work for the float gears.

So you can build the Catalina (with AirplanePlus for the props)?

I can try, but i doubt my hull would look anything like a Cat.  Specially the boat shaped lower - front concave areas.   Anyway, i decided to try the float gear, as a concept proof. It's far from perfect but it works. https://kerbalx.com/Ozelui/Catalina-float-gear

Feel free to use this little contraption if you have a working hull. If i'm not mistaken, these side buoyances were mostly used back in the day to keep the seaplane steady while stopped in water. When it starts gaining speed and lift, the side buoyances stop touching the water, so they should not be under too much stress.

She will take you wherever you want to go... just don't expect to be there quickly.  If you don't mind the tech inaccuracy, change the KAX propellers + juno combo for a pair of panthers, it flies much better.  https://kerbalx.com/Ozelui/PBY-5A-Catalina

@MiffedStarfish wow, impressive... thermometers??? I'll be in my bunk ( playing with thermometers and rcs ports ).

@dundun92 @dundun93 If you guys can't post your planes within an hour or 2 I'll have to put up the poll anyway, sorry, but there needs to be atleast a day of voting. :(

We can't get on until 3. We might just have to skip this week.

We are just moving on to week 7, and nobody knows what the next challenge will be...

What about that hang glider thingy? @Speeding Mullet is away, so you or someone else may need to set the rules.

Whoever wins the last week gets to set the next week's challenge. They could choose a hanglider though.
