Actually, that would be quite useful, I glaze over when it comes to calculus.

The evolution  of the Shaul post-human race equipped them with skin hoods growing from the neck and the shoulders to protect the heads on their volcanic planet.

So, as Kerbals are used to fall down without chute, they could evolve a similar skin chute.
