When I enter the SOI of any star other than Kerbol while using a warp drive, the game starts lagging very, very badly. I mean, 1 frame every four minutes. Basically frozen. The log doesn't seem to show any useful information. In fact, it looks normal. I cleared my Module Manager cache and it seems to have cleared up. EDIT: Nvm, it's still doing it. Damn. Not even sure what's causing it. EDIT 2: There is a bit of a workaround; simply going into the tracking station and letting the ship cross into the SOI without flying it, and then going back to controlling it directly seems to avoid the freeze. I had NFE installed and I thought the capacitators did the converting but I know that mod isn't the most compatible so I've since removed it. The Black Knight Posted February 21, 2022 Share Posted February 21, 2022 I found a fun bug with the Antiproton Bose Einstein Condensate and Positron Bose Einstein Condensate containers that I don't think I've seen mentioned here. Build a ship with two or more antiproton or two or more positron containers (any combination of size, so long as they're the same particle type). While in the VAB, set the amount of one of the containers to any value; set the amount of the other containers to zero. Launch the vessel Open the fuel transfer windows for the tanks, and click "Out" on the tank that has antimatter in it. Watch the amount in the full tank fall, and the amount in the empty tanks rise (as expected). As soon as the transfer is complete... notice that the tank that was emptying during the transfer is now full again with the original amount, and the other tanks now contain the combined amount that was in the original full tank. Recover the vessel, which now has twice the amount of antimatter as when it was launched. PROFIT! This only happens after the vessel is newly launched for the first transfer between multiple antimatter tanks. Subsequent transfers between tanks after the first transfer doesn't further change the total amount of antimatter contained in the tanks. If you launch the vessel (but don't fly it off the launch pad), switch to another active vessel, then switch back to the vessel on the launch pad, the antimatter doubling bug still occurs for the first fuel transfer; if you launch the vessel, complete one transfer, then switch to another active vessel and back, then the bug doesn't reoccur. If you launch the ship off the pad and do the first transfer in flight, the bug doesn't occur. This is using KSPIE 1.29.2 on KSP 1.12.2. Any ideas or places i should look at? This is in 1.12.3 with the latest release of KSPIE w/ included dependencies. No other mods are currently in use. Asking on the right thread helps a lot! This is almost surely something borking on loading a dependency, that so triggers a nasty bug on KSP's Assembly Resolver yada yada yada and then screws up TweakScale because it does heavy use of the things the KSP's bug screws up. Send me your FULL KSP.log on dropbox or something on the TweakScale thread (or even in PVT if you prefer) and I will inspect it and diagnose your problem! Cheers! I just created a orbital shipyard in LKO using Roverdude's MKS that allows the building of ships that are spawned with zero fuel. I'm attempting to use a ship with several of the Liquid Core Reactor Engine. They have zero Uranium 233 when spawned in. I shut down the reactors, flew up a ship with a tank filled with Uranium 233 and docked everything together. For example, set an acceleration of 1 g, and the engine would throttle down to maintain that acceleration.
