I'm no steam and some vanilla features are entirely missing from the game, I've tried, deleting, verifying game intergrity, everything but I can not find a way to "hard erase" the game back to its original state.

Redownload the game from where you bought it, delete your old game and reinstall

Once you delete the game in steam, open the directory and delete everything that remains

I'll check, where do I find the directory

Right click on kerbel space program, go to properties, select browse local files. It will open up the folder then delete everything in that folder it opens.

That will delete squads code too though right?

I did delete it but I can not browse local game files.

I can not delete the director  unless the game is installed.

It will not even let me access local files unless the game is downloaded

I can not even find the directory

  1. Have the game installed.
  2. Check Steam to find the local directory.
  3. Write that down.
  4. Delete the game from Steam
  5. Use Explorer to browse to the directory you wrote down.
  6. Delete it.
  7. If it doesn't exist, no biggie you were going to delete it anyway.
  8. Reinstall the game.
  9. If you're still having problems, we will need more information than "I'm still having problems."
