Scotius
Cargo module? Why build new one, if you have one in use already? Especially for tech demo
SOXBLOX
Wow... I hope they actually pull that off. USSF just recently announced it wanted to look at using orbits further out in cis-lunar space; this could help with that. If the DoD likes something, they'll usually throw a good bit of money at it. So, maybe it won't die.... Once again, the military advances space exploration.

mikegarrison
A guy I used to work with recently changed jobs and went to work there. I don't know what his role there is.
Scotius
Looks like soon we'll see new spaceplane flying. It will break total domination of capsules everyone's using. Diversity is good.

Snark
Various content has been removed due to a lengthy off-topic derailment that had nothing to do with this company's rocket launches. Folks, please try to keep things on-topic. (Also, please bear in mind forum rule 2.2.b about politics, ideology, etc. and try to steer clear of the sort of topics that tend to generate strong feelings and thereby derail threads. There are plenty of perfectly legitimate discussions to be had about such things, but the KSP forum is not the place for them-- plenty of other places on the internet to discuss that sort of stuff, okay?) Thank you for your understanding.

Scotius
First crewed flight in 2026? Ambitious! It will make me incredibly happy if SS will reach that goal successfully.

tater
Somehow missed this from January, but Aviation Week published this render: "Differentiated from the DC-100 series by a 40% increase in size, upper-body windows and fixed wings, the redesigned DC-200 is expected to be flight-tested without a crew in late 2025-and with astronauts onboard in 2026. Although design details are yet to be finalized, the DC-200 is likely to be configured with lower body. mounted wings and twin canted tails, similar to the Boeing X-37, and will feature a simpler outer mold line without the pronounced upper-body hump of the baseline version." https://aviationweek.com/aerospace/commercial-space/pictures-inside-sierra-spaces-dream-chaser-factory
