Does anyone know of any mods or addons that add parts for the 1970 monolithic space station concepts?

SSTU has many of the Soviet station parts, and can create fairly generic 1970s variants of various craft as well.

This mod is worth keeping an eye on, too, it's pretty cool. It's the vehicles from the original 1970s STS plans (a real space transportation system, not just shuttle):

Maybe the observation would be "wow, KSP devs did a great job modeling the parts to allow you to make real life concepts"

You can basically do this (Pilgim) with NearFuture stuff:

Angel's DSEV may also do similar... i know you can do Nautilus with DSEV

yeah... I meant you might be able to do similar to Pilgrim with DSEV... i dont remember if DSEV had the folding centifuge thing...

and at one, point, IIRC, Angel was considering splitting Nautilus off to its own seperate mod from DSEV

Ooh, another mod to consider would Tantares - the Russians were throwing up a lot more space stations that the US was during the 70s

While not really "historically accurate", and other than the connecting struts, that could probably be duplicated with a mix of BDB, Near Future Construction, Stockalike Station Parts Redux, and Kerbalow Aerospace or KA-330 Inflatable Space Hotel
