Yes, both are installed just fine. All other Kerbalism features are fully functional as well. It's very strange. EDIT: I've looked at the tree further and it just keeps getting weirder. Nothing related to supplies(the various tanks and the like) is there, but randomly the greenhouse is showing correctly, but it only outputs air(which isn't consumed, nor are there any tanks for besides the smallest) and not food. I am at a loss as to what happened here. I'll attach my modlist. Maybe remove kerbalism and kerbalism Simplex, and harmony and install manually from Spacedock. I dont know if the kerbalism simplex being outdated as well is a problem. Also try on a fresh save. Also, BackgroundProcessing which i think is there for Photon Sailer would cause problems woth kerbalism, maybe ODFC-Refuelled too? Try without these and Interstellar Fuel Switch and see what happens. KSPIE and its related mods haven't been tested with Kerbalism Simplex but anyghing that does background processing borks kerbalism itself. Peace. Yeah I do use CKAN, it's actually how I made that list. I followed your instructions up to the middle, didn't see a change in the parts, and when I refreshed you had added the other half. I'm running a 1.11.2 game with Kerbalism Simplex and Kerbalism Core 3.1.3 in JNSQ. I'm not getting the resources for the pods OR radiation belts around the planets. I tried a clean install with JUST Kerbalism Simplex, Kerbalism Core and JNSQ and still have no consumables or Radiation Belt. With the JNSQ being renamed out as an optional manual profile. Give me 20 minutes to check as I've noticed strange placement of the consumable containers with the simplex techtree. Should be fine unless they want Ore. I don't think it removes LH2 completely, but if you want LH2 then the cryotanks won't store it. Looking at spacedust, at some point I'll work it in to Simplex Resources but not yet. Also Kerbalism Simplex doesnt have the CryoFuel integration yet. Next update. A good number of tweaks... including mining and getting rid of any z fighting on the consumable containers. Also, support for Stockalike Mining Extenstion which will mean that stock drills will only extract Saturate and Hyrdate Ore as the larger mods will have Tweaks to the fuel cells will mean MP+Air comes first at basic science with LFO being an upgrade later. This is mainly in line with the TechTrees. CryoFuels in SimplexResources will be supported too. The Chemical Plant will now process to get Organic Slurry. uglyduckling81 Posted July 23, 2021 Share Posted July 23, 2021 I'm fairly early into a game, first time using Simplex. I don't think any of my starting kerbals are using food or air, or producing waste products. I just tried to achieve 30 days of Orbit with Val, she started losing her mind so I brought her back down. None of the onboard resources were used though. Saw the same thing when I took Jeb to the Mun. Do the starting 4 use and produce no resources? Right, had a look, and setting up as with your mods had the same problem in my Steam install. But with my with my 'WIP' installed, version it does work. It would seem that somehow it is needing SimplexResources to load and use correctly when I add it in everything seems to work fine. Another question for me is "why isn't this killing them in without the resources?" So I'm looking for a fix right now if you don't want Simplex Reources, and given that you want Community Resource Pack (which you shouldn't need for a simple install with Kerbalism Simplex but assume another mod that you want it for), Simplex Resources may conflict with other mods. Because of the "!" MM should load those resources if the SimplexResources isn't present. So, quick fix for your game, in the folder/file KerbalismSimplex/ResourceConfigs/SIMPLEXKerbalism-Resources.cfg remove the 12 :NEEDS[!AngleCanMods/SIMPLEXResources], or install SimplexResources. I have no idea why. Because of the "!" MM should load those resources if the SimplexResources isn't present. So, quick fix for your game, in the folder/file KerbalismSimplex/ResourceConfigs/SIMPLEXKerbalism-Resources.cfg remove the 12 :NEEDS[!AngleCanMods/SIMPLEXResources], or install SimplexResources. Community resource mod probably got installed as a recommended or something when I was installing that small list of mods through CKAN. I'm happy to add Simplex Resources as an alternative.
