jimmymcgoochie Posted December 17, 2019 Share Posted December 17, 2019 Gitlab issue raised as requested @Nertea Re. the tanks, I think we're going to disagree on this- I just find it really odd that the 1.25m, 2.5m, 3.75m and 5m fuel tanks have four black vertical stripes in black and white mode but only half of the 1.875m tanks do, and the other half have 2 stripes. Streetwind Posted December 18, 2019 Share Posted December 18, 2019 The nozzle is the bearable part of the Cheetah. The really bad stuff is everything above it. Especially that awful striped tankbutt/mount that doesn't properly match any tank. I mean, most stock parts look crude next to ReStock, but the Cheetah manages to look crude next to stock parts. Not Yet fully tested but more than 10+ hours playing the game with this file. Extensive checking results will be uploaded when done. @ReStocked Team : would you consider packaging such a file in your distribution, assuming 1/ it is reliable 2/ I volunteer to maintain it as soon as you deliver a new release ? I think it should still be working OK since I haven't upgraded anything else from ReStock, it's the same version I've been using for quite a while alongside my current (i.e. the previous) version of KSP. I'm also not seeing anything glaringly wrong, all the parts seem to work just fine. But the log Errors make me wonder if something might not be working properly? ReStock/ReStock+ 0.1.4. Note: I know this is a version back, but I haven't upgraded to KSP 1.8 (since I'm looking for Kopernicus to update and I'm in the middle of a long career game). Hope that isn't an issue for support. This looks like it is problems with the whitelist file delivered by these mods. The names are wrong. I didn't look at all for them but all the ones I checked were files that did not exist at that path. I'll follow up separately with each mod owner to let them know. In the meantime, I wanted to confirm for the whitelisting... If I put for example the folder name 'Squad/Parts/Command/' in the whitelist file, everything in that folder will be whitelisted? vardicd Posted January 1, 2020 Share Posted January 1, 2020 (edited) So I'm having a problem, and I'm not sure where to ask, It's a problem revolving around docking spacecraft, and Restock/Restock+ are the only mods I'm using that I know have any effect on the docking ports in the game, so I'm going to ask here. My problem as far as i can understand it: Launch any combination of craft I want, and i can dock and undock them as many times as i want. I can switch to other craft, launch other missions, and can still come back and dock/undock those craft no problem, but the minute i close KSP and restart the game, any craft currently in flight can not dock to anything, or the game instantly crashes. If i launch 2 new craft they can dock/undock no problem. any 2 existing craft dock=crash. 1 new craft+1 existing craft=crash. I have used Restock/Restock+ since it originally launched and I've never seen this problem before, so I don't think it's coming from restock/restock+ itself, but I cannot for the life of me figure out where this is coming from. This should be a link to the output log, and again i don't think this is a problem coming directly from this mod, but maybe a mod conflict? I can switch to other craft, launch other missions, and can still come back and dock/undock those craft no problem, but the minute i close KSP and restart the game, any craft currently in flight can not dock to anything, or the game instantly crashes. If i launch 2 new craft they can dock/undock no problem. any 2 existing craft dock=crash. 1 new craft+1 existing craft=crash. I have used Restock/Restock+ since it originally launched and I've never seen this problem before, so I don't think it's coming from restock/restock+ itself, but I cannot for the life of me figure out where this is coming from. This should be a link to the output log, and again i don't think this is a problem coming directly from this mod, but maybe a mod conflict? Yeah, I didn't think this was an error coming from this mod on its own, I just didn't have any idea where else to look. Thanks for taking the time to look though. You're using Module Manager 4.1.3 and it's only for KSP 1.8.x. From KSP 1.8 on, output_log.txt is no longer used. That file would have to be a log when you last ran KSP 1.7.3 or older. I was able to disassemble and reassemble an orbiting space station that used the normal clamp-o-tron docking ports, but the minute I tried docking a nearby command pod to the station using the Clamp-o-tron jr. the game crashed to desktop.
