I agree, it's a great place.

Through most of 2016-2018, I was not really playing much, except to try a challenge or two here and there and to try out any new builds for an hour before putting the game away again.

I still visited this site more than any other. Possibly more than all others combined.

I legit consider this forum the only safe place on the internet for me.

I washed my hands of Facebook a few weeks ago.  Even with adblockers and filtering addons it was still too much stress for me to deal with.

I'm good here.

Good for you!!! I gave FB up a couple years ago, and never looked back.

I never joined in the first place. Initially because I spent my childhood somewhat behind the times, technologically speaking, then because I couldn't see the point (I didn't have many friends in high school), and now because A: I still can't see the point, and B: it seems to cause a lot of people a lot of grief. Good to know that my decision was justified.

On topic... yep, this forum is pretty amazing. Also amazing are the moderating team, without whom the forum wouldn't be the wonderful place it is. You all rock.

Something interesting happened regarding Facebook recently actually O_O, (I'm not on it either, but) Apparently someone in my class made an off-colour joke on Facebook about school shootings and someone else in my class saw it and reported it to the cops! Long story short the police were waiting in the carpark one morning for him to show up, and had a talk to him @_@
