I’d say approximately somewhere between the later part of early mid Q2 to early late Q2. Give or take.

I read I believe on IGN that the aim is to have it out before the fiscal end for take two which is 3/31/2020. Of true, that gives an end date. I may be wrong tho so do not quote as gospel

Just like a certain modern rocket, I think that it will be delayed every year for a couple of years, cancelled and replaced with a project with a less ambitious scope. That subsequent project will also be delayed every year.

 

In reality, it sounds like it's supposed to come out in March. That's not too suprising, as a lot of games are slated for March 2020 so that their revenue can be on the books.

The release date is March of 2020 to June of 2020, with rumors saying it will be in March because Take-Two wants KSP 2 out before their fiscal year is up.

If the 'pre-alpha' footage is what they have now, then spring 2020 seems unlikely.

They've been working on the game for 2 years. That Pre-alpha footage might have been made 6 months ago
