BezKartuza
I think music is a subjective thing. Someone like ambient, someone metal, someone generally rap :0 I personally generally turn off the music in the game settings and listen to the background AC/DC, NightWish, Rammstein and the like
Geonovast
I frequently forget KSP even has music as I leave the game muted.
Guest
KSP2 should have a varied selection of bespoke tracks. KSP1 only has a few decent tracks, the rest are repetitive, generic, royalty-free music found on the internet.
Gargamel
Moved to KSP2 Dicussion.

I'll say, one place we deal with at work put me on hold and there was some KSP music right there. I was like... ooo-kay? And I'll reprise one of the suggestion I made many years back: Even if the game comes with music, allow us to edit some cfg file and set paths for mp3 music. Like if I want "Mars, the Bringer of War" when I enter Duna's atmosphere or "Arvo Pärt- Spiegel im Spiegel" when flying in Eeloo sphere of Influence.... then I should be able to. Pecan
The Latin music in the Tropico series is about the only in-game music I don't mute immediately. If there's no option to mute music, I mute the whole game. Hypocritically, I now propose The Primitives' Way Behind Me for every launch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fjehtGnvS0. Naturally matched with the same band's Crash for every landing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1y7NGqfZteg Apologies for ear-worms *grin*
mattinoz
Did everyone miss the memo? KSP 2 Developer video. KSP 2 has a musician on staff doing as far as I can tell situational sound tracks.

I was more focused on >> PERFORMANCE INCREASES << and that Ringed planet with icy moon. Let's hope it's good. Most game music are, but I have known some that gets annoying after a while. Yes game music tends to get highly repeative if the game has decent replay value. It is usually the first thing turned off for me. I was sort of hoping with Arcade Apple would have done something cool with game music and music streaming like letting developer pick a mood, tempo, character for the current game situation and pick tracks from the players library/likes to suit.
