Funny. KSRSS isn't working/loading by itself with just the bare minimum dependencies, while the other planet pack does. Both break if installed together... which is funny because I've been playing with those two together for almost a year prior to attempting to update mods. But, oh well. I'll continue tinkering with it.

Feel free to post a new log but the one you sent is from Kcalbeloh

This is from my newest run, having added KSRSS to an otherwise-working install. I can isolate again if needed. Seems to be some kind of error with Kopernicus and a star. KSRSS won't work by itself either. It's VERY likely this is an installation issue, I just don't know how I could have screwed that up. I've used the mod for a long time now, and I put the "KSRSS" folder into GameData like always. Did the file path change with the most recent update? The GitLab installation was always... janky for me from the start, but this is the first time it's just straight-up broken. Thank you again!

That's done, planet pack still won't load though. I might just surrender on this one, since there doesn't seem to be an obvious cause. One last log for good measure. I might note that I've got the no volumetrics config added, since I don't have the paid version of EVE Redux.

I am happy to inform that I fixed this problem by simply deleting the lines for the wormholes referring to Jool. Somehow, that fixed everything... despite this planet pack not working on its own (???). I'm guessing one of the many reinstalls fixed KSRSS along the way. Anyway, thank you for accompanying me on this grand journey of the Good, The Bad, and the Bugly.

As RSS, KSRSS is a mod intended to transform the stock solar system into the real solar system, but at stock size, with the objective to let you explore the solar system without many mods necessary in a RSS save. Also, we worked hard to make every body of the system pretty and unique. For example, with KSRSS, you can find dust storms on Mars, geysers on Enceladus, snow at the pole of the Earth and many other things.

New feature in 0.7 : Contract Pack !

A contract pack is now included in KSRSS. They replace the stock exploration contracts. You need Contract Configurator or the contracts won’t appear. A “Probe before kerbal” tech tree is highly recommended.

Here are some of our recommendations :

  • SIMPLEX Tech Tree
  • TETRIX Tech Tree
  • Kiwi Tech Tree
  • Probes Before Crew

FAQ

Q: I want Pluto and Charon to be a binary system.

A : Install Sigma Binary.

Q: Is this a continuation of SSRSS?

A: It’s not. The idea is the same, but SSRSS is a rescale of RSS. KSRSS is a completely independent mod.

Q: Are you looking for translators?

A: We are! Currently, KSRSS is available in English and in French. The Chinese translation is incomplete, and we are missing the other languages. If you want to help with translation, join our discord : https://discord.gg/DDENnkn

Q: I found a bug, how do I report it?

A: Post a message in this thread with: a screenshot of the problem (if applicable), a screenshot of your GameData folder, your KSP version and your KSP.log (you can find it in your KSP folder) Do not paste the KSP.log here, upload the file to a sharing service (Google Drive, Dropbox, …) and send the link here. Make sure the link is public.

KSRSS isn't working with KSP 1.12.5. I am just getting a Kopernicus warning that tells me it could not load KSRSS "due to an exception in the loading process"

Do you mind posting your ksp.log here? (I would suggest you do this by putting it in a compressed zip file then upload it to google drive)

Got rid of RSS, still getting the Kopernicus warning is still there.

I only butted in bc that one caught my eye, and definitely would cause conflicts, so you're better off even if there's still stuff to fix. btw, if you are able to, an updated log file would probably help ballisticFox next time they're passing by -- there will be way less errors in there now.

hang in there, it's really worth it once you get it working!

The issue is not related to KSRSS but the .dll in KRPC failing to load properly.

Also please please please please do not upload your KSP.logs as pdfs, it will add a new line after a certain point making it a hassle to figure out what actually caused what

I removed KRPC and still got the Kopernicus warning.
