I have a (non ksp2) issue that I need to get in touch with anyone from the ksp team I have tried tweeting and emailing to [email protected] and it has been a few days and I have had no answer is there anything else I can try?

@todunaorbust, I see this is a first post to you. Welcome to our forum! As @Vanamonde has said, ask away and we will do our best to help you.

Geforce now is a game streaming platform that allows people with less powerful computers to play games at a smooth framerate, they are basically just renting out a gaming pc which just happens to be in some server rack somewhere, the video output gets streamed to your computer. Nvidia(who run the service) recently made a change to the system so that any game on there needs to have been opted in to the service by the developers, ksp did not opt in and was removed from the games library. Because of this I am no longer to play ksp and I would like to get some in sight into why this happened or maybe if it will get opted in again.

Geforce now

From other reports I've seen, and without any confirmation yet from SQUAD/PD/TTi, KSP seems to have been removed from the GFN service last weekend (June 1st).  We're awaiting official word from above on this issue in order to answer your questions.

does that mean that there will be a official word or we want there to be?

Yes?   Maybe?    The word has been passed up the ladder, that's all we know.

I really hope they allow it to be opted in but it seems unlikely based off other publishers, only time will tell I guess but until then no ksp :(

I had the PS Now service for a little bit, before I had a full console system.  I found the ability to preview games without paying for the purchase of them was a huge bonus, there were a few games I had on my wishlist once I dropped the PSN service, having played them online.   Some games, the inherent lag makes playing them over the net difficult, but the gameplay was good enough to know it would be worth purchasing.

Now that you can't play it online, you might want to consider picking it up for your PC.  Wait for it to go on sale if budget is an issue, we keep a thread at the top of the KSP Discussion forum that lists current sales we find.   I'm also assuming that you can't mod the GFN version, and to be honest, having mods is 80% of the joy of KSP.   The game is awesome stock, but the variety of mods we have allow you to customize the game to play exactly how you want.    You'd even be surprised at how tolerant of older machines KSP is.  Until very recently, I played for years and years on a potato of a machine, and even with a heavy mod load, it ran great.   Might have taken 20 minutes to load, and the frame rate was atrocious, but I had fun.

And no, I don't work for SQUAD, or anybody else associated with KSP, I just really love the game and the community.

it runs semi ok on my laptop but I have sort of harvested a few parts for a new pc from my school. I just got a email from private division saying that "I am sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, we don't have any additional information that we can share regarding the news with GeForce now, but be sure to follow us on our social media channels for any news and updates."

Thanks for sharing, we'll be able to inform others if they have the same question then.
