Three questions: one: would a 2018 PC with 170 mods (most are small) with 16 GB ram and the GU Visuals run this?
number2: Does the GU visuals add Configs to stock kerbal AND GU or only GU. If the answer is only GU would spectra OR AVP work for stock system visuals or would they cause a conflict (game breaking or not) number 3: Is this compatible with KIP-2995 system (as in would it conflict which means interfere with other star systems orbits or break this mod?)

It should work fine (do check the installationclips on page 1)

in order to get other stock visuals to work, just remove the stock folder in the GU_Clouds folder.

i have yet to investigate te KIP mod, but you can always install gu and kip and check the results.

But wouldn’t deleting  clouds mean that you won’t have clouds and only scatterer effects?

What do you mean by two separate things?

You'll be using the AVP-provided EVE config (you can see the files under AstronomersVisualPack/AVP_Configs/Stock/) so you won't need GU's EVE config.

Scatterer is a different mod, unrelated to EVE, which does atmospheric scattering and ocean shaders.

So I can delete the stock system visuals but keep the other star systems visuals and use AVP for stock?

Just a quick question, is this compatible with the community resource pack?

Community resource pack is just a mod that adds more resources to the game so the magical "ore" can't produce everything so by default yes it works with CRP. If meant configs GU has RR configs (mod that gets rid of the stupid randomized placing of different ores) so CRP ores are placed properly.

Every time I look at this forum it just gets better, and better. How is that stream of gas from the star possible? Great work!

instantiator - basically a few textures wrapped around both objects

So, that jet is not volumetric, since instatior textures are 2d, right?

indeed, particles are sadly not available to planetmakers at the moment (fingers crossed it will one day be fixed again)

KSP2 is supposed to have other star systems in the first place. We don't yet know how many, or how detailed, and I'm sure there will be mods that add extra star systems, but the need for a mod like GU will be reduced compared to KSP.
