Thundy
We've always speculated on the time for each info drop (A feature video, A dev log, etc), however. With the delays the game experienced all predictions were extremely flawed. But now, with KSP 2 team finally starting to release feature videos with regular intervals starting from Episode 2, we can safely guess when each will release. Still, we don't know how many feature videos there would be. So here's my predictions: Colonies - Explains how colonies mechanics works and how they'd be useful. KSC - Shows the KSC, and various buildings such as VAB. Planets - Shows a verity of planets, including a lot of interstellar ones. Animated Tutorials - Shows how the tutorials were designed and talks about what the game designers did to make it beginner friendly and educational. Gameplay & Gameplay loop/progression - Shows how large the tech tree is and talks about how the contract system works. Aerodynamics - Shows planes, how the aerodynamical system works and how much of an improvement it is from KSP, and weather system. (if there's any weather system present) Multiplayer - Shows how multiplayer works. I am 100% this feature video is going to be the last one before the game releases. Now... Assuming the game releases in late 2022 (worst case), that's going to be 4 months for each feature video drop, that seems a bit unreasonable to me. I'd accept 2-3 months. Am I missing something? If so, what do you think is missing? Note: I used the formula 24 months remain / 7 feature videos = 4 months/feature video

The two above they have touched on at some point. No, they weren't a full feature videos, but they have talked about them. As for what's next, I can't even guess. starcaptain
Meanwhile I'm just wishing all the blogposts and youtube videos would follow the same title convention. According to "The Numbers"(TM) there's a new update of some kind every 43 days.

To replace at least one of them, I figured maybe a "Music" Feature video will be there? So far we've never heard anything related to the music. Unless they do a Dev diaries about it instead of a feature video.

I can tell from recent videos that they're using some new compositions, that take queues from Hans Zimmer's Interstellar. I sincererely hope there are moments that take a hint from Gustav Holst's planetary leitmotifs. I also want to know if they're going to be doing anything in regards to how sound dynamics work in different environments. And by that I'm referring to how sounds are modulated in very different ways depending on the atmospheric temperature and pressure. I am not saying to axe sound effects in vacuums. While Rocket Lab's video was incredibly cool, I think that realism is better served for movies than in this game, where sound effects are an additional layer of player's actions and reactions. Sound design is alot more involved than just what bleep-bloops play when you click on buttons. (Though to be sure, getting that right is also important.) Sound design choices are why games like Starcraft and Red Alert 2, which are technically highly impersonal RTS games, have little unique soundbites for each individual kind of unit, so that the little faceless mooks you command around have more personality. Implementing something like that in KSP would be as simple as giving different kinds of "Mehheh?" mumbles to different Kerbals when you switch control while on spacewalks, or between different vessels. But here's a dimension of sound effects I'm curious about: interior sounds. If I'm in IVA mode and I start doing some crazy maneuvers, does my ship creak and groan from the joints bending? Do the engines make that tinkling sound if they were hot, and are now cooling off? Edited January 1, 2021 by starcaptain

THIS PLEASE. I'd love it, it'd be perfect if the game supported VR at some point in the future. This is one of the reasons why I love the opening sequence of First Man (2018). It has a lot of these noises.
