So, the /g/ pronunciation is obviously erroneous, and like everything in the GNU/Linux cult is unnatural and thought-out.

The correct form of GNU should be !NU:

Amn't surprised at all, as GNU / Linux is a clone of Esperanto cultists a century before.

Btw, this drives to the idea that GNU/Linux culture should be rewritten in Esperanto, thus both cults can merge and become one, in the sacred name of Cthulhu.

A funny fact about the G pronunciation.

In Russian books George Washington is sometimes /dzhordzh/ (modern tradition, direct transcription from English), sometimes /georg/ (historical tradition, all English names via Deutsch), depending on author's preferences.

So, in Russian it could be also said "gif like Washinton's name".

And as well, then-prince Charles was Charles, not Karl. He became Karl on becoming a king, even if he isn't aware of.
Because previous two were historically written as Karl I & II, so it would be strange to have: Karl I, Karl II, Charles III.
