Flight computer?

Is anyone aware of a flight computer mod, or feature in the game, that provides a flight computer similar to the one included with the Remote Tech mod. I'd like to have a way for ships to perform planned maneuvers, such as node adjustment burns, that have been pre programmed into it earlier, yet unattended at the time.

For example: When setting up a comms relay network around a planet, there are at least three satellites to be deployed. The initial orbits of each one can often be less than perfect. Is there a way to program each satellite to make the appropriate correction burns by themselves, unattended, while I'm doing something else? The flight computer in Remote Tech is amazing, but I'm not using that this time.

Anyone?

While the vessels are unloaded? There are utilities that can play with craft parameters on the fly, but nothing that can comprehensively do anything by their lonesome.
RemoteTech's guidance computer is effectively a very limited form of MechJeb. You can fly whole mission 'by wire' with MJ, and it can do some very precise maneuvers, though nothing toward unloaded crafts. One of the best function I've found is rover autopilot, which can drive your rover over to waypoints, keep stable with reaction wheel help, and quicksave regularly, even while the game is minimized completely. MJ can otherwise schedule, place, adjust and execute burns, provided you tell it to do those things.

@Omar X You might be facing in the direction of learning kOS and writing scripts for that. Unlike making configs (which is not coding), you're actually coding, in kOS' own language.

I kinda arrived at the same conclusion. Ive been watching videos, trying to learn a bit about it. Can you tell me tho, will KOS instructions run unattended, like when I'm working on something else far away, like the RT flight computer? If it won't, KOS won't work for me either.

Thanks for responding!

kOS can execute a limited set of commands on unloaded vessels IIRC, but it's quite limited.  Pretty essential things like thrust, RCS, etc, are not part of it.  This is because of how the game is designed, sadly.

Thanks. I'll have to look into it more.
