CKAN Support will come when the mod is ready for playing, because its difficult to communicate to CKAN users that its not 100% complete in development yet. Though, the mod is very easy to install and I'm not sure why CKAN is necessary to download it, unless personal preference. Regardless I'm glad for you looking forward to this project. This is amazing looking and I cannot wait for it to be complete. I do have one question, is it possible to have the stock KSP system but have this as a separate star system that you can go to?
