What if there's some guy on a South Pole research base messing around on the KSP forums? Odds are likely very close to 0 but it's fun to think about. Isn't that the purpose of 'what if' questions?

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux" distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux except for Alpine Linux, Void Linux, Android etc...

No, in fact I'm using the Linux kernel with GNU apps above it. More precisely, for me it's mostly canonical and KDE apps :)

Over time, the "GNU" part of the name was forgotten. My apologies.
