I just had my patch installed and wanting to update the modloader to v 1.0.0.  But when I go into KSP root directory, there doesn't look to have any folders related to the modloader (version 0.4.0) I previously installed, yet the mods I installed previously are still showing up in game?

Mods have moved to BepInEx/Plugins as space warp is no longer a modloader

Yea I don't see a BepInEx folder at all after the patch?

Did you re-install SpaceWarp? Updating to the patch may have gotten rid of all your mods. You may need to re-install SpaceWarp, which will give you a BepInEx folder along with a much of other necessary things. Do you have a doorstop_config.ini file or a winhttp.dll file? These are all found inside Space_Warp__BepInEx-1.0.1.zip. You should copy the content of that zip file into your KSP2 folder, and then you'll have a BepInEx folder along with the other files you need.

I must confess I got confused with the root directory of the game vs root directory of "...\LocalLow\Intercept Games\Kerbal Space Program 2\..."  I was running into intermittent freezes (for around 30 secs), decided to uninstall everything and try again.  Fingers crossed!

The LocalLow folder structure is for your saves, not for the game. You can have multiple copies of the game (one modded and one clean for example), and they'll both read and write saves to the LocalLow folder structure you described above. Mods should be installed into the folder with the executable for the game.

Sorry to report that I am experiencing no audio with the latest version released on April 2nd. 1.1.0.  Reverting to 1.0.1 so far has been the only remediation.  I am not sure what information is and is not relevant here but am happy to supplement the below on request to keep the comment as succinct and useful as possible.

Issue summary:  No audio whatsoever from KSP2.

I've tried the following to no avail:

  1. Deleting "Player.log" in the LocalLow folder
  2. Toggling audio on/off, restarting game, PC, all permutations
  3. Uninstalling all mods, fresh install of BepinEx 1.1.0
    1. Booting game with ONLY 1.1.0 results in no audio as described

Same - no audio with 1.1.0

Removed ALL mods, installed just space-warp and bepinex, and no audio.

Yes, unfortunately this is a known bug, we're working on fixing it and releasing an update for it asap.

Is this how it should look after install? I have added a couple of mods since but they don't show in the VAB

ox2o12.jpg

Some mods don’t have an app bar button in the VAB and some don’t have a Flight mode button. None of mine show up in the VAB as they’re all designed for use in flight, but there are mods I use that are available in the VAB or in both. It all depends on how the mod is written and which buttons it happens to create.

Which mods have you got that are not showing up in the VAB? What’s in your BepInEx/plugins folder?

It looks like your game folder is missing some files that are included with the SpaceWarp+BepInEx download, namely doorstop_config.ini and winhttp.dll

I did a fresh install.

Did another fresh install of Spacewarp + BepInEx, however now the menu is missing some key features.

EDIT: A file verification seems to have sorted it

EDIT2: Parts still not showing up

EDIT3: I'm not getting any sound

EDIT4: Ok, sound is now back. This is very weird.

Resonant orbit calculator is only available in flight mode, and configuration manager is a part of SpaceWarp i believe - no gui for that or SpaceWarp. Stage info should be in both VAB and flight

Has anyone had issues with tooltips being 'incomplete' after 1.1.1?

I'm seeing a lot of part names as localization tokens.

Things like Electric Charge: 250 VAB/Tooltip/U or Methalox: VAB/tooltip/t

SW 1.1.0 brings in localization as a capability that was not present in previous versions of SW. If a mod is not yet updated to make use of localizations correctly, then chances are things won't work quite like they ought to. I recommend pinging the mod maker when you see this and ask them to add support for localization. This may take time as they'll need someone fluent in the languages to localize to - perhaps that's you if you're noticing the issue! If so, you could volunteer to help produce the localization strings needed.

This is a known bug currently, and we're working on getting it fixed.

Sadly, that isn't the case here, in addition to audio being broken in version 1.1, some localization of the stock game's terms also stopped working with that SW update, and while we released a hotfix for the audio issues in version 1.1.1, we still haven't figured out the localization issue.

Hello !
A few days ago I updated the mod to version 1.1.0 and ended up with all the mod windows empty.
I waited a few days, then I completely deleted the mod files and folders, reinstalled Space Warp + BepInEx 1.1.3 without any other mods, restarted the game, and still the same problem...

Hey... Pretty sure I followed instructions on loading BepinEx and SpaceWarp... but I'm not seeing a "Mod" section in the main menu of the game... Did I maybe do something in the wrong order..?

I was following howtos in the FlightPlan mod thread... I installed BepInEx 5.4.21 (the 64 bit version) from the gifthup page
https://github.com/BepInEx/BepInEx/releases
... and then the latest version of space warp from spacedock... (which of course doubled up the BepInEx install...

and then some mods, but I still only see the standard selections in the main window of the game (SinglePlayer, Settings, Extras, Exit)

Dang... was looking forward to some rendezvous' now that their was a MechJeb Lite.

Usually thats related to an old SpaceWarp version still being present in the KSP2 folder. Also we do not recommend you installing BepInEx and then SpaceWarp, its better to use the download provided here, it has both BepInEx and SpaceWarp in the same file for easier (and less problematic) installation.

When this happens its always better to do a reinstall to avoid any remaining files from old SpaceWarp versions. Note that this bug only happen when updating from 0.4.0 (or prior) to a newer version.
To do a reinstall, you gotta unistall it (either via Steam or Windows), go to the folder and then delete all remaining files, there will be remaining files, this is because Steam and Windows uninstaller only delete the files originally installed by the game, and BepInEx/SpaceWarp are not originally in the game.

Also note that the latest version requires UITK for KSP2 to be installed as well.

@HiraDimeniosand @Sunshadowcould you please try our newest version? 1.2, you can download it here

To update do I just drag and drop all of the file's over the last ones? I have lazy orbit installed, do I need to reinstall that? Or can I just drag and overwrite files when updating space port?

Most of the times yeah, tho we recommend you using CKAN since it makes life so much easier.
Tho if you're updating from SpaceWarp 0.4.0 (or prior) to a newer version you should delete BepInEx folder and then install SpaceWarp's new version
