2 NexusHelium
Reported Version: v0.1.4 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 | CPU: Intel i7 | GPU: Geforce 1080 GTX | RAM: 12 GB Severity: Hard to say Frequency: Haven't tried to replicate it. I have encountered yet another bug. Remember that bug where the KSC would spawn in orbit? Well that happened but with Laythe. I was on Vall with a lander and decided to check my Laythe lander so I went into the map and clicked "Control". Then... the surface (No oceans or atmosphere) spawned right next to me on Vall. The title says it all. Here's a picture of the bug in action. Included Attachments: Edited September 10, 2023 by Anth12

1 NexusHelium
I sort of found a solution. If you click "Control" again then the planet disappears and you end up on the designated planet. The graphics and terrain may be a bit wonky though.
1 Anth
My attempt to simplify replication. Steps for Replication: Load quicksave_129.json Press M (map view) Zoom out and rotate to see Jool Focus on the craft for Jool (actually Laythe) Zoom in Rotate planet so the perspective is over the top of the craft (may or may not be important) Control craft on Laythe Press M repeatedly in just the right way Note: Its hard to get to work sometimes. 0 Paperzlel
Reported Version: v0.1.5 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 | CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G | GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 | RAM: 16GB Severity: medium/low, doesn't cause anything overly dramatic but does look very weird These two glitches seem to happen because of the game not unloading the KSC properly when entering the tracking station, and pulling it to wherever the craft is. Replication: 1. Land a craft (optional) on a celestial body 2. Go back to the KSC 3. Enter the tracking station 4. Select the landed craft and focus on it 5. Select the craft again and select Control 6. Press M to leave the map screen and the craft should load in empty space. The KSC options will also appear. 7. Press M to enter map view again, should switch to focusing on the KSC. 8. Press M one last time and it will switch back to the landed craft. The ground will have weird patterns of light on it and after some time Kerbin will load in without the KSC textures. This one seems really consistent for some reason, hopefully it helps with some other bugs Below is a screenshot of the glitch as an end result. As I mentioned, it takes a little moment to load, but both these seems to have the same cause. Included Attachments:
