Suggestion: Bring back old trajectory interactivity

Agreed - although I think this might actually be a bug as it does sometimes appear to work with both, but often the PE node will disappear from the SOE view (right square) and you'll be unable to place a manoeuvre node - not sure what causes the change in behaviour.

If this is intended behaviour then should def be changed as it also makes it more annoying to fine-tune the approach from afar as you have to go pinpoint the right PE on the main trajectory (left square) and then switch over to see the angle etc.. relative to the planet in the SOE view (right square) while keeping the pinned PE in view

Hopefully with more colors. Just replace circles with entry/exit symbols and paint them blue/red, something.

I agree; the concentric blue circles are visually overpowering and distracting. I feel they could be consistently smaller and still indicate that an encounter will occur.

I think the splashes are way better at communicating that your vessel is going to be under the influence of another gravitational source and that this is determined by their SOIs.

The biggest problem people see in it is that the splashes are too big. Can't they just be turned down instead of removed altogether?

It would help a lot if they didn't scale with zoom and the exit and entry splashes were clearly differentiated visually. My main issue is that they get in the way big time when planning maneuvers in a SoI I haven't yet entered, e.g. a Jool gravity capture.
