Hows this, these are using the official minmus height map as a base.

May want to try creating mesas rather than the mountains it seems to be generating. Right now it seems as though it is trying to generate a planet and is bunching up on a small sphere, causing it to be very ruggid all around, when the real Minmus is quite smooth.

I didn't see the notice on that box, my jaw fell down a drain after seeing that...

because the real minmus is limited by unitys terrain tessellation amount and the height map size that squad made, plus its a fictional planet anyway, i dont see how something this small could have lakes that turned to a liquid and drained to the lowest point

I'd have to fish up an old persistence file for this one, i think it was 1300-ish, which is far less than what i could've aimed for.

Hey uh, Rareden, i hate to nitpick but.

in this image

You can see that the back right (relative to where you're sitting) is clipping into the rock it's on, or at least that's how it looks.

That's a shadow - the rock sticks out a bit in front of the wheel, and you can see its shadow on the rover.

indeed, its a awesome looking craft, must have been running at 0.5 frames a second for 1300 parts
