That's a shame, I up-rated it 5 stars... you're dedication to his is incredible! I've never liked it when sites have up-vote/down-vote systems of the like. If it's just a like button only that's cool, but dislikes can really make the OP feel bad (if you're sensitive to those things).

Yeah, I think they should remove the rating system. The one star rating on some threads can deter people away from the thread, regardless if the thread is good or bad. I often go around and rate the threads with 1 star with 5 stars to balance it a bit.

Hey, have you considered designing a cargo bay door using the Claw's hinge and RCS? I thought about this while doing a math test (yeah, I know...) today, and thought you might do some magic and make it work.

The problem is that the doors don't open very far.

Looks amazing!! Looks better than my one which was made with b9 and space shuttle engines mod! :D

Btw: the real shuttle could actually fly with just one OMS I think it could transer fuels from each OMS pod as well... don't quote me on that XD

Yes, indeed they could, but one of the SSMEs were destroyed- thus making the shuttle too unbalanced to fly.

I tested a modified version of the block III Odysseus to test my Energia, to see if it could lift a shuttle. I was surprised that It was capable of orbit (without a payload), as the orbiter is 25% heavier that anything I previously tried to launch with it.

I will try to post a .craft later, as this is your shuttle so I should probably share it. But it has some missing struts from the the subassembly that makes the aft section wobble a lot.

I tried making an Energia for it (and making the appropriate modifications to the Orbiter, of course), but found all the symmetry and stuff too complicated for my likings.

Hmm, I've been having that problem sometimes too. It's a bug with the game's subassembly creator.

The decoupler bug is really annoying. Pretty much all designs with SRB boosters suffer from it, and it is apparently another instance of kraken (the fact it stops happening over 750m/s screams "krakensbane" all over). But apparently there is a really easy fix, which you can find here:

The original thread died or something, but user Targa (kudos to him!) found out it was a problem with the decoupler module for radial decoupler, so he just substituted it in the config files with the perfectly-working module from standard decoupler. Works like a charm, BTW. Me, I don't consider rockets that stopped working because of this as "broken", since it is clear it's the game and I expect things to come back to the state they were in with 0.25. But in the meantime perhaps we should put warnings on our builder's pages so that people know what to do if stuff isn't working for them.

Rune. Also, I'm not releasing parallel-staged rockets for the moment.
