How do I re-center craft in the VAB?

Ok, for some strange reason every now and then my craft opens up in one of the corners of the VAB. It is a pain moving it via the 'normal' methods, at least the ways that I know. Is there a 'magic' key or method to simply put the craft back into the center????

If it's not every time you load it, then try reloading the craft when it happens.

I've seen this a couple times, but only with downloaded craft. Many times you will not be able to grab the root part and move the whole ship, but don't worry: If you hold SHIFT while clicking on any piece of the ship, it behaves the same way as clicking the root part, so you do not have to dismantle the ship piece by piece to move it. I don't believe a simple hotkey exists for that, but it would be helpful if they added it some day.

I thought that with the entire ship selected, pressing 'spacebar' not only reset orientation, but centers it as well.

EER also has the 'b' hotkey - which puts the bottom of the vessel at 5m above CL (concrete level).

anyway, at today the "b" key doesn't do anything at all, is there a new key that "puts the bottom of the vessel at 5m above CL"?

ah, sorry, I thought EER was an acronym for something, I didn't think it was a mod.

edit: anyway I was wrong, I just realized that the spacebar only reset orientation but it does not center the pod.
So I split the vessel in two part, then I used the stock "Subassembly Drop Zone" to center the pod relatively to the VAB.

Letter "B" with EEX will center and position it at a specific height above the floor
