Hi there tjsnh, I think I found what was the source of my issue.  The mod called, " Career-mode total conversion" was removing the tantares parts and since removing that mod, I can now continue with my historical career.

I just started the Soyuz missions, is there a docking apparatus for the Apoloo / Soyuz?

New forum is terrible. On mobile thread pages are endless, lagging and the design is really bad. Quote function working not so often. I hate this forum, too much. Anyway Beale, nice work on Salyut parts! Will you release that textures as an alternate folder or will they became default? In both cases they look really soviet :)

Built a clunker inspired by a spacecraft from Planetes (will probably post a picture of it later but I doubt it). But darn is the game even more laggy for me than before. Unacceptable! :mad: I guess after I'm done testing my craft in flight I'll go on another hiatus, unless I get my frames to stay at 50-60 ..good grief.

Anyway, loving the new parts. Put that new docking node to good use on that clunker of mine. :)

EDIT: Sorry, really I am but I just can't play this game with piss-poor frames even though I made a rather small craft consisting of 144 parts and the game lags like I'm flying a 250-400 part ship. I have an i7 3770k CPU, Gigabyte's three-fanned GTX 980, 16gb of RAM. Every other game runs butter smooth (depends on the game really) but KSP running like ARK Survival Evolved? No.. just, no.

It's a thing inspired by a clunker from episode 18 "Debris Section's Last Day". Only thing my ship needs now is actual flight tests but KSP still refuses to run smoothly, really bummed about that. :(

EDIT: Huh, the more I look at my ship the more I see improvements to be made like adjusting the long landing struts to be at an angle and replace those xenon collectors at the each end of those side tanks with a same unit customized to turn ore into fuel (the two tanks hold both fuel and ore).

I'm having a problem with the G-143A Orientation Parachute and the G245A Docking Unit.

When deploying the parachute, when coming into land, the docking unit detaches and the parachute deploys.The docking unit then flies up and destroys the deployed parachute. This has never happened before and my design and staging haven't changed.

Has anyone else experienced this?

i never have but just decouple high in atmo then deploy the chute after you slow down

The parachutes themselves do not have colliders, so the impact causing the destruction must be an illusion. 

You are sure that you are deploying the parachute at the correct time?

Thanks! :) Would prefer to build a Toy Box too but, alas that's something that'll need alot more patience and parts to do, the newer Toy Box model they get in the series is even more of a something that needs bulky sci-fi parts, big reason why I've spent my time playing Starmade instead to let my creativity flow.

Would be nice to have almost all the stock plane and shuttle parts retextured to look grey, that's the only solution I can think of to make a good looking Toy Box spin-off. :P

But yeah, PC issues. Guess I'll keep waiting for that 64bit update and try to make 1.0.5 have more frames without making everything look muddy.

It's from a series called 'PLANETES'. Speaking of the series I can relate myself to Hachimaki almost 100% which is a first for me because never before has some fictional character been similar to myself until this year. :confused:

Absolutely.

And just to add some more explanation, I created a girder that I attach to every craft before I screenshot it with Kronal Vessel Viewer. Since the beam is a known, consistant length, I use it to adjust the screenshots to a 1px = 1cm scale. The full size version is here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/kordite/23136259069/

Caution. Most of them were designed for 1.0.4. You may need to swap out the http://kerbalx.com/CaptKordite/R7-Semyorka-Booster because, when I originally designed them I had the nesting rockets pointing straight at the core to peal the boosters away in a nice Korolev's Cross. In 1.0.5 that causes the core to explode. And, even then, the replacement subassembly doesn't behave the way I want. I'll need to work on that a little more.
