Hi @Beale, I love your mod, but a couple of things are missing on my instal (installed it via CKAN).

Firstly, the RCS thrusters don't work in the Soyuz service module, and I think it's because the service module doesn't have monopropellant already.

Secondly, some of the names of the parts are glitched example posted below.

Thirdly, there are no engine sounds in the Soyuz engines (the one that has a flap).

Would really love to see these get fixed in the next update as I am a big fan of Soyuz rockets.

Thanks for flagging. If you can also add to the github issues it's really handy, as things get forgotten otherwise.

Unfortunately your image is broken, do you know which parts have broken description?

I think I accidentally published some of the unfinished soyuz parts to the main branch, so it might be those.

Booster tanks, RD-107 & 108 up on github, with a basic texture switch.
We are very very close to having all of Soyuz ready, next up is the booster separators, fins, (and maybe a fairing, or two, or three :D)

They are now on a separate branch (To keep both me and Beale sane), so you have to pick the soyuz-dev branch on github if you want these parts.
as usual any feedback is appreciated
and screenshots too

I know this may be off topic, but after MEK, does anyone know about the russian nuclear tug Zeus being developed? (although in reality I think it was cancelled in real life).
It is very difficult to create in KSP due to the terrible sliding truss system (bad mechanics and shortage such parts force us to edit cfg and use tweakscale). When time comes to deploy all these parts in space, you get 100000 bugs and stress. I wanted to use early concepts that included a liquid droplet radiator (I quickly simulated this through Waterfall).
This all fits perfectly into the Angara A5 fairing (Eisenhower Astronautics):

When unfolded and working it looks like this:

And for the R7 craft file, the soyuz isn't at the top, this is why i had to merge them (not sure if it was intentional or not), and the Vostok R7 craft file did come with the Vostok at the top, but the fairing wasn't set up and wasn't changing to green when i tried to make it. I have SAF installed.

This is... AWESOME!!! What did you use to make the MKTVA?

It's made out of a lot of parts, but here's the ones I can list:

Spoiler

- SOCK

- Procedural Parts

- ConformalDecals

- ORANGES

- BDB

- NeistAir (underside)

- Mk-33 (wings)

- Near Future LV

- Benjee10_sharedassets

I have an issue. When i load the craft file for the Soyuz spacecraft and then merge the R7 Soyuz rocket, the R7 wont attach to the spacecraft, and the same when i tried it the other way.  I closed the engine hatch, but it still didnt work. What do i do?

KSP has a problem with merging: when you try to merge one assembly onto another, it can only do it if the part that connects to the other assembly is the Root of that assembly. So if you load a lower stage and attempt to merge an upper stage, then the engine of the upper stage has to be the Root part of the upper stage. On the other hand, if you load an upper stage and attempt to merge on a lower stage, then whatever is at the top of it must be the Root.

This is, perhaps, the most important use of the Re-Root tool: you can use it to force the appropriate part to become its root: ie the engine when merging an upper onto a lower, or the topmost part when merging a lower stage onto an upper stage.

I hope this helps!

Yeah the Vulkan seen here is a bit shorter than its irl counterpart

Half of the reason is that this configuration is a bit shorter is the lack of the vesuvius upper stage, vesuvius was an LH2/LOX upper stage powered by the Rd-57m.

Newest version on soyuz-dev on the github should be ready for release. I'll give it a day on the branch to see if any issues pop up.

The main part that was missing was added, the radial decouplers for the boosters. They should be easy to attach radially and there is a toggle on the booster fuel tanks to enable a node for proper alignment.ch391fx.png
An example craft file has also been added
