Floppster
Request: can we please have the crocodile interstages in 1.25 to .625 and 3.75 to 5 (in other words, a full range of tweak-scale values).I have made configs for them and sent to dtobi, but since he has a life and I don't, he can't update that often.I can send you a download link? He didn't really want me distributing in this thread so I'll refrain from doing that.

dtobi
Version 0.3: More resizable parts and Skylab* New Skylab science laboratory* More resizable parts: Crocodiles (Thanks Floppster)* Half size cargo bay (Thanks Floppster)* Corrected the size of the large shroudsI added a 3.75m habitat and science lab module. It is quite heavy but it features pretty good science module stats and even a small observatory. Edited July 7, 2014 by dtobi

dlrk
The inflatable heatshield appears to be having an issue with FAR, the coefficient of drag is showing as .06 to .04 with the shield, compared to .20 without it.

Maelin
Hmmm yeah I've had the same problem with the VAB editor freezing for a couple of seconds every time I pick up one of the new parts. I checked the log and found the moment when I picked up the part from the list, here's all the details from that section:[LOG 02:12:05.699] Km attachment tweaker is running!!![LOG 02:12:12.518] Part: KM Short Storage Shroud Transforms: 9[LOG 02:12:12.519] KM Short Storage Shroud: Geometry model created; Size: [1.25, 0.36390221118927, 1.25000035762787], LD [1.25, 1.25000011920929, 0], UD [1.25, 1.25000011920929, 0]Surface area: 1.42904070976358Fineness Ratio: 0.291121727306119TaperRatio: 1Cross Sectional Area: 1.22718498140885Cross Sectional Tapered Area: 0Major-minor axis ratio: 0.999999713897787Centroid: [0, -0.025105819106102, 0][LOG 02:12:12.520] Part: KM Short Storage Shroud Transforms: 9[LOG 02:12:13.490] km.com.op.11.shr(Clone) added to ship - part count: 3[LOG 02:12:13.491] stage count is: 0Notice the seven second delay between "Km attachment tweaker is running!!!" and "Part: KM Short Storage Shroud Transforms: 9"I downloaded from the link in the OP only a couple of hours ago. Looks like it's definitely just the ones with the tweakable scale thing. Edited July 8, 2014 by Maelin

Maelin
Did you have tweakscale installed before?I never had that here. Can you post a mod list?Oh, yeah, hmm, maybe that's the problem. I did have Tweakscale installed before, and I didn't copy the Tweakscale directory out of your install directory. I'm generally in the habit of leaving Tweakscale, Toolbar etc in the install directories when I install new mods, and installing the newest version directly, which is why I didn't bring across your version of Tweakscale. Could that have caused the problem?

Maybe you give it a try.I'll try it tomorrow, but I don't think that's going to be it, because the four plugin files in the Klockheed Martian directory are identical to the ones I already have installed for TweakScale (confirmed with MD5 file hashes). Here are the warning messages I got, including the longer-than-usual delay, when I went from the editor to launching my ship "Test":[LOG 03:23:20.601] Loading ship from file: C:/Steam/steamapps/common/Kerbal Space Program/KSP_Data/../saves/Career2/Ships/VAB/Auto-Saved Ship.craft[WRN 03:23:20.772] Part probeStackLarge_4293787442 cannot load module #8. dlrk
Dtobi, not sure if you saw my previous post, but the heatshield doesn't appear to be generating drag like it should in FAR.
somnambulist
Someone else had reported that this was the problem for him. Maybe you give it a try. That was me and the the old tweak scale wasn't at fault --- the problem is only showing up with certain parts and my quick test didn't hit any of those parts. If I have time tonight I'll setup a clean install of KSP w/ KM special parts and start adding in mods from my current install until it breaks. Based on the log entry it might be an interaction with FAR.Edit: It's definitely not far. I wasn't able to reproduce the issue on a clean install, but I did discover that the lag appears to happen only with an existing save, not a new save. Archive of logs and my persistence file is available here. This is with v.2 and only affects parts with tweak scale enabled. Haven't tested v.3 but am going to assume it still has the same problem. To be clear I don't think this is a problem with KM parts -- there's something else going on in my save that just does not like tweak scale. ACC - Is your problem also happening with an existing save? Edited July 9, 2014 by somnambulist
acc
I get still the loading lag issue in VAB and on vessel load. I installed tweakscale via your pack and had it not installed before. And the attach nodes of the cargo bay are may not accurate. You can look between them, if you attach two together.edit: sorry, just saw I still use v0.2edit2: updated. still loading lag in v0.3ACC - Is your problem also happening with an existing save?I'm using it on an existing save, yes. Not tried on a new save yet. Edited July 9, 2014 by acc

Can you send me a craft file and a list of mods you use? I'd love to reproduce this. A minimal mod config (least number of mods it happens with) would also be good.Edit: This is interesting. Things start laging when I switched to career mode. On a vanilla install the parts work quite well without any lag... Now trying with FAR.Edit: It seems to come from Tweakscale alone. Removing tweakscale fixes the lag. Need to try more tomorrow.Edit: The science configs in tweakscale seem to slow things down. Once I remove the techRequired parameter from the tweakscale module everything works fine. Edited July 9, 2014 by dtobi

I would like it to somewhat resemble the actual skylab but it won't be a scale model. It will be a bit simpler.
