I'll repeat what I've been saying long time ago - tech tree should start with unmanned launches. Kerbals sending tiny crappy rockets into suborbital trajectories. Starting with Mk1 just doesn't seem right.

And also, the barn seem to link to a launch pad or something. Hope it has something really cool.

More than ever I want Kerbin to have cities and towns scattered across the globe. There's a lot of supporting civilization that needs to be in place for dilapidated camping trailers to be so common.

Yeah, I really think the barn should look less like a barn and more like the VAB at Kennedy Space Center.

If that's the R&D complex, I think that's the early model observatory (modern R&D has an impressive - if ornamental - observatory dome in it, as I recall).

Could be. Or it could be the earily version of the tracking center? As that would help spot roids and such much sooner.
