[1.0.4] Mk2 Essentials

Funny, I just remembered this parts pack today and BAM! Update.

Out of curiosity (read: self-interest ^_^), have you considered changing the (skin) textures on the decoupler and separator to something that blends in with the stock MK2 textures? I DL'ed the pack before but rarely use the parts once I realized out much they stand out in a design. I want to use them but my aesthetic OCD is winning out in this case.

Everything looks good at first glance under KSP v1.1 release. I flew the engine attached to the inline and radial intake - saw smoke but not flame, not sure if that is intended. Might need tweaking of stuff for actual use, but you can at least drop it in and load it up without any worries and tweak what you need for what you need.

Until an all-encompassing update hits I'll post here whatever fixes I implement if I come across problems while using these parts

It looks like most parts here are covered under the Mk2 expansion mod by SuicidalInsanity. That would be the place to go and spiritual successor of this mod.

Yep that's the reason I haven't really bothered with updating

Thank you!

I'm working on updating these, if anyone has local updates you've done for yourself, please send them to me.  Might make life easier.

I just tested them in 1.3, other than the jet engine being super OP, they all seem to be usable, but there are some updates needed to bring the config files in line with the current game;  some missing modules, tags, etc.

So, I've started doing some updates.

I've added back the old battery as an alternative, with the same specs as the current one, mainly because it looked nice.  Unfortunately, since the size of the part changed, I can't do a texture swap.

Not much time today, but I'll be continuing this over the next few days.  I'm including this in a mod revival pack I'm putting together, which will consist of a number of old parts mods which the license allows me to adopt.  In order to keep things sane, each mod I revive will be in a subfolder inside the main revival folder.  This will make it easier to track licenses and set things up so that you can only install specific parts of the mod

Regarding the engine being OP, I've seen some other comments about it:

So, I'll definitely be reducing the thrust and increasing the fuel rate on it

All links are broken :/ , or i don't see, please send me the best link, and i check out =D

Not here, (as in this thread) my friend, but here

(To be fair, the actual name was Recycled Parts. My bad.) It's got a bunch of other old mods included in there as well, so just check the Mk2 size category to find all that was here before, now there.

Não aqui, (como neste tópico) meu amigo, mas  aqui

(Para ser justo, o nome real era Recicled Parts. My bad.) Também tem um monte de outros mods antigos incluídos, então apenas verifique a categoria de tamanho Mk2 para encontrar tudo o que estava aqui antes, agora.

Thank you, =) sorry for the inconvenience caused by new member, I appreciate your help very much, and I do not forget it.

No problem, and welcome to the forums!

Pro tip, might wanna check out one of the pinned topics at the top of the Add On Releases, "Community Library" or at least it has those words on the title. It's a listing of all the mods identified so far that are 1.3 compatible by update, or if the older version still works, or if a patch had been provided to bring it up to date.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
